The cuisine of the La Tor restaurant and pizzeria is a perfect blend of traditional recipes and the refinement of South Tyrolean gastronomy. Alongside the classic flavors of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, you will find dishes inspired by culinary experiences from around the world. Each dish is born from a constant search for new gastronomic experiences, creating a unique mix of tradition and innovation. In our establishment, you can enjoy organic wines selected from the finest wineries in South Tyrol, along with prestigious Italian labels. The beers, on the other hand, come from historic local breweries and producers who have shaped the history of the industry. The menu changes weekly, offering new surprises for a constantly evolving journey of flavors.

Restaurant and pizzeria.

The building was registered in the late 19th century as "house with courtyard and tavern". The restaurant business has always characterised the historic building which as early as 1786 proposed itself as an inn and retailer of traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. We can say that Casa al Torchio is the oldest restaurant in Bolzano. The restaurant offers today typical South Tyrolean cuisine and Italian gastronomic specialties created by the owners Ivan and Willy Waldner. Each dish is expertly structured to respect tradition with a touch of creativity and imagination. The restaurant has a capacity of about 90 seats, divided into 3 characteristic rooms on the 1st floor and 50 seats on the 2nd floor. In addition to lunch and dinner, you can also enjoy a good pizza. A selection of wines from the best local and national wineries and a selection of craft beers can accompany your dishes.
