Murundum route nr. 4 - Rungg

Kurtatsch/Cortaccia s.S.d.V., Kurtatsch an der Weinstraße/Cortaccia sulla Strada del Vino, Alto Adige Wine Road
Circular hike from Kurtatsch to Tramin through historic paths, vineyards and viewpoints, featuring highlights such as Kastelaz, Bödele and panoramic views.
from center
This varied circular hike starts at the main square in Kurtatsch and leads to Tramin along historic paths, through vineyards and shaded woodland sections. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful viewpoints, cultural highlights such as the Maria Hilf wayside shrine and Tramin’s parish church, as well as impressive views of the surrounding landscape and Lake Caldaro.

The route combines nature, culture and the characteristic vineyards of South Tyrol’s southern lowlands. Along the way, lovely spots invite you to pause and enjoy the panorama. Passing through the hamlet of Rungg and the surrounding vineyards, the trail eventually leads back to Kurtatsch.

The circular hike can, of course, also be started in Tramin and completed in the opposite direction.

This circular hike is part of the Murundum themed trail, which consists of six stages. Each stage offers new insights into the region’s landscape, nature and culture, inviting you to discover South Tyrol’s southern lowlands step by step.
