WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road

The South Tyrolean Unterland Tourism Association invites you to the concert at the Turmhof Tiefenbrunner Castle Winery with the Aurora Duo - violin and harp - on 18 October 2024 as part of the "WineSounds of the Alto Adige Wine Road" festival. The Turmhof Tiefenbrunner Castle Winery in Entiklar/Kurtatsch is an 800-year-old property surrounded by beautiful vineyards and an idyllic courtyard with ancient trees and a large castle park: the perfect setting for the concert. The concert is accompanied by exquisite wines and refined appetisers.

As part of the “WineSounds on the South Tyrolean Wine Road” in late autumn 2024, we warmly invite you to the concert in the Von Braunbach wine cellar. The "Alpentales Quintett" plays music from all directions with a double bass, trumpet, drums, vocals, Styrian harmonica and violin. The historic residence of the Teutonic Order is the perfect atmosphere for the concert. With exquisite wines and sparkling wine from Terlan wineries, Terlan wine soup and small appetizers. From the 18th of October to the 2nd of November 2024, local wines, the stories behind their production and great music will be the protagonists of the second edition of WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road. The audience of the appendant concerts will be offered the musical performance and the chance to taste and enjoy a beautiful selection of wines in unique locations. An initiative of the Alto Adige Wine Road Association in collaboration with the Tourist Associations of Nalles, Andriano, Terlano, Appiano, Caldaro al Lago, Termeno, Bassa Atesina, Castelfeder and Laives Bronzolo Vadena as well as the Tourist Board Bolzano. The Dolomiti Sax Quartet plays in Andriano in the courtyard of the Sternbauer, one of the most beautiful architectural monuments in the Adige Valley. Look forward to excellent music accompanied by the delicious wines from the Andriano winery.

Experience a special evening in the medieval courtyard of Haderburg Castle. Live music by Hortus Musice and tasting of different wines. In case of bad weather, the event will take place on Saturday, 26 October 2024 at 6.30 pm.

In Appiano at Freudenstein Castle performs the 15-member ensemble "Windkraft" with soprano Maria Eleonora Caminada and conductor Hans Finatzer. Windkraft takes up a tradition in a contemporary way, namely that of brass music, which is of great importance in Tyrol. The supporting program includes a wine tasting of the Fallwind line of the St. Michael-Eppan Winery and a nude art exhibition. The historic winery of Elena Walch will open its doors to the concert attendees. After the final notes of the woodwind quintet "LIGNUN" have faded away in the historically significant courtyard, with a view of the picturesque mountain scenery, we will take you on a journey of discovery through our wine cellars. Today, in the former Jesuit monastery, using both traditional and avant-garde techniques, Elena Walch creates her multi-award-winning wines. The charming contrast between intricately carved wooden barrels and the highly modern fermentation cellar with its architectural highlights perfectly reflects our identity and versatility. Following the concert, there will be a tasting of four selected wines in the estate's park, where you'll have the opportunity to experience it for yourself!
