TangoX3 was founded in 2005 by Luca Degani (bandoneón), Leonardo Sapere (cello), and Giannantonio Mutto (piano) – as a natural continuation of a musical journey already begun into the evocative world of Argentine tango. Today, the ensemble performs as a quartet, joined by Rino Braia on double bass. Tangox3’s artistic identity is deeply shaped by the works of Astor Piazzolla – the composer who infused tango with renewed depth and dramatic expression. Over the years, the ensemble’s musical scope has broadened to embrace classical tango as well, incorporating into its repertoire some of the most iconic pieces of the Guardia Vieja, reinterpreted with fresh nuance and emotional resonance. After the concert, the music will linger on – accompanied by fine wine and culinary delights.
