The snowshoe hike in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente offers an unforgettable winter experience with breathtaking panoramic views. Only about an hour's walk from the village center, the trail leads through snow-covered forests and vast winter landscapes to the idyllically situated St. Agatha's Church, which sits enthroned on a hill in secluded silence. 

This varied snowshoe hike begins at Frommeralm hut and leads through snowy forest landscapes and over gentle hills to the so-called "Buselineck-Monte Nigra." This is a wooded hill in Welschnofen | Nova Levante that offers a fantastic panorama of the Rosengarten |Catinaccio. Along the way, you pass the Schillerhof hut and then reach the historic wolf pit and the small Lengeria Chapel before descending to Welschnofen | Nova Levante. Throughout the hike, you are continually greeted with impressive views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the expansive valley.

The circular hike begins by crossing the suspension bridge built in 2018. The trail continues to the turquoise Lake Carezza, especially beautiful in the morning light. It then leads through the mystical Latemar Forest. After that, you scramble over rocks and roots through the impressive rock labyrinth beneath the Latemar. On the Latemar meadows, you reach the Eggental Mountain Cinema, offering breathtaking views of the Rosengarten and Latemar peaks. After taking in the panorama, a relaxing break at the Latmor Alm is highly recommended – perfect for resting and enjoying the view. The hike then continues up to the Karer Pass, the highest point of the route.

The second stage of the multi-day hike starts with the ascent to the Passo Cigolade. The descent from the pass leads to the Rif. Vajolet, the second accommodation. After the check-in an ascent to the Passo Santner is possible.

This easy and pleasant winter hike starts in Eggen and leads along path [79] through forests and meadows to Rauth. The path is easy to walk on and is perfect for a relaxing hike on a sunny winter's day.

Did you know that Lake Carezza has a little brother?
It is the lake Mittersee, a secret lake in the middle of the forest that only exists for a short time in the spring months (May-June). A meadow then fills with 8° cool meltwater and disappears again around July.
As long as the lake is there, however, it is a true natural spectacle and an insider's tip. The very brave even dare to jump into the cool water or go for a ride on a raft.
This hike, which is very suitable for families, also leads to the Lake Carezza and the suspension bridge and offers a wonderful view of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar mountains.

Discover numerous highlights on the family-friendly Star Village circular hike in Steinegg|Collepietra. The trail leads you to the open-air exhibition on Pstosser Bühl, past the Mountain Cinema near the Biohotel Steineggerhof with stunning views of the Schlern|Sciliar and Rosengarten|Catinaccio, to the small chapel "Zum Weißen Bild", the earth pyramids of Steinegg|Collepietra, and the rocket treehouse in the forest adventure zone Öl. If you want to explore even more, take a short detour to the ruins of Steinegg|Collepietra– just a 20-minute walk from the village center. Simply follow the signs with the ruin symbol and dive into the history of the ancient castle.

Important note: There are no refreshment stops along the entire circular route. However, at the start and end point in Steinegg|Collepietra, you will find several restaurants, cafés, and two shops.

The snowshoe hike to the primeval settlement of Enzbirch leads through an idyllic winter landscape characterized by dense forests and vast snowfields. Enzbirch itself, an overgrown hilltop, bears witness to the historical importance of the region. The remains of an old rampart castle can be found here. Once here, a breathtaking panorama opens up with a view of the Adige Valley.

This hike leads across the blooming Latemar meadows to the Eggental mountain cinema, from where you can enjoy the view of the mountains, before entering the rock labyrinth - a true adventure at the foot of the Latemar.

This snowshoe hike starts in Welschnofen | Nova Levante and begins with a somewhat steeper ascent. However, the effort is quickly rewarded with beautiful views as soon as you reach the Stadlalm hut. From here, there is a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar, as well as the snow-covered alpine pastures.
From the Stadlalm hut, the path continues through the fairytale-like Latemar forest. On a well-maintained trail, it eventually leads to the Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza), one of the most famous natural gems of the Dolomites, whose winter scenery provides a perfect conclusion to the tour.

The third stage starts with the crossing of the Passo Principe to the Alpe di Tires and to the Rif. Bolzano. The final effort to reach the peak of the Sciliar, the Monte Petz opens up a beautiful panorama to the surrounding mountains.

The hike starts in the village center of Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente. The hike begins on a tarred path, then a gravel path, then a forest path [E5] in the direction of Wölfl farm.The [E5] trail is the European long-distance hiking trail that leads from Constance over the Alps to Venice. By taking this route, the snowshoe hiker can experience a small section of this trail.

The circular hike on the Steinegg Ridge Way is ideal for families and hikers looking for a varied hike. On well-signposted paths marked with a yellow shoe, the route takes you mainly through sparse forests past individual viewpoints with impressive views of the surrounding mountain panorama, such as the Schlern | Sciliar, the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and the Latemar.
In the summer months, you can easily escape the heat in the woods on this circular tour.
Along the way, benches with tables invite you to take a break and have a picnic. There is also a refreshment stop on the circular hike: the alpine hut Oberölgart. Another place to stop for a break is the Untereggerhof inn. This can be reached via a short detour from the farm Tschigghof to the observatory and is not directly on the tour.
Parts of the tour are suitable for pushchairs and run along wide forest paths. Ask at the information offices in the Eggental | Val d'Ega.

This snowshoe hike leads into the tranquil and secluded nature of the Totmoos biotope. In this protected moorland, numerous water lilies can be found in summer, which are decorating the pond and are covered in snow and ice in winter. The nature reserve also provides a home for many forest inhabitants. The path follows gentle ascents and passes through quiet forests, providing a perfect retreat from everyday life. Along the way, you are repeatedly rewarded with views of the surrounding Dolomite mountains and the Eggental Valley.

Growing in the Karerwald forest, the hazel tree is used especially for the production of string instruments. For this reason, the wood has also been called ‘tonewood’. You start from the Karerwald forest to walk to the popular boulder labyrinth which acquired its name from the house-sized boulders that fell during a massive landslide from the Latemar mountain long ago.

The fourth day begins with the descent from the sella Cavaccio trough the Orsara to San Cipriano. The valle Nigra path brings to the Passo Nigra and also back to the starting point Nova Levante.

With the bus we reach Passo Costaluga where we take the path to a mysterious rock labyrinth which a huge landslide from the Latemar a long time ago has formed at the foot of the Latemar.where we follow the signposts no. 21 and 17, stretching underneath the Latemar. First we walk along a broad forested trail, until we reach the first signpost "Labyrinth". Immediately the forest ends and the mighty Latemar towers into the sky in front of our eyes.

Numerous votive tablets demonstrate how, for centuries, the devout sought refuge and mercy from the mother of god in times of worry or distress.

The Latemar is varied on this circular walk, which starts at the Grand Hotel Carezza and leads the hiker through the Latemar Forest to the labyrinth and back.

The first stage of the multi-day tour leads from Nova Levante to the sentiero Masarè/Hirzelsteig trail to the first night quarter, the Rif. Roda di Vael.
