The Val Gardena Mountain Run, one of the most scenic mountain runs in the world, takes place every year in July in Val Gardena. The 14.5 km long route runs from Ortisei over the sleepy hamlet of St. Jacob in the UNESCO World Heritage area Puez-Geisler, and from there to the summit of Ortisei’s “local” mountain, the Seceda. The view which awaits us along the route and at our destination at 2,457 m is simply stunning. The return route can be taken comfortably by cable car.
The tour into the Vallunga is the ideal introductory tour for first-time mountain bikers or for families. It is toned-down because the tour goes not go into the upper Vallunga, but only just as far as the mouth of the valley.
From the culture house in Rasun di Sopra enter in the Biotope "Rasner Möser". Continue through the biotope to the Walder farm until reaching the fish pond in Anterselva do Sotto. Along the river back to Rasun di Sopra.
From Rasun di Sotto you pass the church and the cemetery and you follow the street up to the farm Oberstall. Turn back on the road towards Rasun di Sopra and back to Rasun di Sotto near the river.
Leave from the local tourist office, follow trail no. 3a until you reach the Unterweg restaurant anf walk the same way to come back. Duration of the excursion: 45 min - Drop/rise: 290 m
From Rasun di Sotto towards the Camping Corones and continue via the "Dorfrunde" hiking trail to a crossroad. Follow the street to Redensberg and on the hiking trail in direction Mount Hochnall. Go down to the farm Burgfrieden and descend to the hunting hut. Continue to the left following the "Dorfrunde" hiking trail until you reach the Barbecue in Rasun di Sopra. Cross the main street and go back along the river to Rasun di Sopra or Rasun di Sotto.
This easy route is ideal for beginners. It's the perfect place for you if you need to concentrate on technique and correct movement without losing your breath. Starting from the Nischlhof farm, you'll have delightful views of the village of Naturno from the Vogeltenn Promenade. The path then leads up to the Sonnenberger Panorama Path and goes on for 1.6km. to the Runsthof farm. Then simply take the same way back to where you started from.
The so-called Könings-Route, or "Kings' Path", included the whole of the Nordic Walking Track on the higher slopes of the Naturnser Sonnenberg. Starting from the mountain station of the Unterstell/Naturno cable-car, the path heads in the direction of Merano past the farms at Galmein and Grub to reach the Pirchhof farmstead. It then climbs up to the Schatzhof farm and on again past Galmein to follow the Meraner Höhenweg as far as Innerforch and on to the Linthof farm. From there, it climbs again to the Dickhof, the highest point of the entire circuit, and goes on towards the Schnals valley. The way back starts from Kopfrom along the Meraner Höhenweg to Innerunterstell then goes on downwards past Patleid to return to the cable-car mountain station.

The medium-difficulty running loop in Vals offers a harmonious mix of paved paths, loose surfaces, and short asphalt sections, providing a well-rounded experience for all fitness levels.
This route starts from the Nischlhof farm and goes on along the Vogeltenn Promenade and the Sonnenberger Panorama Path to the Runsthof farm on t Weitgrub as far as Pardell. Itthen heads downwards along an asphalted road to the Weintal and on past Stein and Falleggthen down again just before you reach the Rusthof farm to the Sonnenberger Panorama Path and the Vogeltenn Promenade back again to where you started from.
From the mountain station of the funicular railway at 2,103 m altitude we run first westward to the Resciesa summit cross. There we take a little time to enjoy the breathtaking panorama and to cast a look into the neighbouring Val di Funes. After that we take paths no. 10, 31 and 35 toward the Brogles Saddle, whereas we stay approximately at the same elevation, making this run a real pleasure. Arriving at the Brogles Saddle we can either run back the same way to the funicular, or we turn right onto path n. 5, which leads into the path no. 9 through Val d’Anna and finally brings us back to Ortisei. Just before we reach the village we come to a Kneipp facility in Val d’Anna, where we can cool our legs.
The parking lot serves as the starting and finishing line (beginning of the Ultner Höfeweg farms hiking trails) in Pracupola/Kuppelwies. A very beautiful course amidst the quaint and idyllic Val d’Ultimo/Ultental Valley leading up to S. Nicoló/St. Nikolaus. On the way back, the path runs along the other side of the valley. Difference in altitude: 251 m. Mostly in the forest.
Running Round at the beautiful larch reported on the "Salto", start finish: Maso Maneggio Edelweiss to albergo Lavena and back! Run lenght: 10,7 km
