The Bergrestaurant Jochtal is located directly on the slope and also the funicular and so it has a perfect posiotion. The kitchen is open continuously. The opening hours in summer are the same as those of the funicular and the opening hours in winter are the same as those of the skiing area. You can also reach the Bergrestaurant Jochtal from the carpark in Vals in about 2 hours.

Horn Alm in the Monte Corno Nature Park

Visit us at 2.214 meters above sea level. Breathtaking views in the surroundings of mountain peaks await you on the idyllic hike up to the Bergl Alm. After walking through roaming larch forests stop at the cozy Café for some delicious regional food – these are just some of the many adventures awaiting you on your hiking trip through the famous Val Senales (Schnalstal). You can easily reach us via one of the many hiking routes, some of which lead all the way to Kortsch/Schlanders in Vinschgau. The Bergl Alm is the perfect spot for families with children, who will be able to play freely in the alpine meadow and our own little playground, while their parents relax in the sun.

The hut take place on the mountain Gitschberg with a beautiful panoramic view, a sun terrace and delicious tipical dishes. Open from the beginnings of June to the beginnings of October and in the winter season it has the same opening hours as the mountain railway. You can reach the Gitschhütte in 15 minutes from the mountain station Gitschberg.

In the heart of the Dolomites, 2,100 metres above sea level, you can enjoy the warmth of traditional Ladin cuisine, with dishes that reflect the local area. The refuge can also be reached by the Gardenacia cableway, followed by a 40-minute walk. It was completely restored in spring 2009 and is run by the Nagler family of Badia.

The Alpine Star hut is located at 2,045 m above sea level in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten nature park. The tranquility of nature, the magnificent all-round panorama of the fascinating mountains of the Dolomites and the lake make this place special. The Alpine Star hut is easily accessible by foot, by mountain bike or by horse-drawn carriage. You can reach the hut on hiking trail number 7 from Compaccio. It takes about 1 hour. We are closed when the weather is bad, as we only have tables and seats outside.

The mountain inn Furlhütte at Rosskopf / Monte Cavallo invites you to typical South Tyrolean delicacies.

In the Arunda valley on the Laatscheralm alpine pasture (2049 m) family Frank is looking forward to you and spoils you with simple homemade dishes. The alpine pasture can be reached by a leisurely hike of just under 2 hours along the gently ascending forest path, starting above Schleis/Clusio, or for the more agile walkers via the steeper shortcuts. (sig). The Laatscher Alm alpine pasture is also part of the 360° circular hiking trail - on the 8th stage, you head for the alp on the way to the Joch on the west side of the Monterodes mountain. By bike it is reachable in about 1.5 h. Open from mid-May to early October.

The Piffinger Köpfl mountain inn is situated near the summit station of the Funicular Meran 2000 and the cable car Falzeben. During winter apres-ski for young and old. Tasty, easy dish meals, cakes, strudels and other homemade treats.

Auer Leger Alm is at 1872 m between the Lavazé Pass and Oclini Pass. In the winter, we invite you after a cross-country skiing tour or a toboggan day one at a refreshment. In this known Almrestaurant we spoil you with regional delicacies Tyrolean style, game specialties and traditional "Strauben". In the summer there are various delicacies except to observe our petting zoo and live the lush grazing cattle have the option. Gurndin family also owns several purebred St. Bernard dogs that have already brought many eyes will amaze you. Both in winter and in summer we offer sleigh rides with horses. Our alpine hut is located in the heart of the Dolomites at an altitude of 1,364 metres above sea level, in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. Only reachable by foot. Surrounded by meadows and forests, the Hofer Alpl mountain inn is an oasis of tranquillity. Whether it is hikers or cyclists, couples or families with children – our guests feel comfortable here. From our sun terrace you will enjoy a breath-taking view of the surrounding villages and the unique mountain world of the Alps: Trentino mountain region, Cevedale, Texel Group and Ötztal Alps. Visit us at Hofer Alpl – as a daily visitor during a leisurely hike in the nature park or as a holiday guest in our romantic natural wood rooms or in the adventurous dormitory.

Our hut is situated on the Sella Pass in the middle of the breathtaking Dolomites scenery. Thanks to its position between Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, you can enjoy a fantastic 360° view. In winter you can reach us directly via the Sellaronda. In summer, however, you can reach us either from the Sella Pass after a comfortable 25-minute walk or from Campitello di Fassa with the Col Rodella cable car and after a 20-minute walk downhill towards the Sella Pass. Another option to reach us is by bike in 10 minutes from the Sella Pass or downhill from the Col Rodella cable car towards the Sella Pass in only 5 minutes. A large selection of creative culinary dishes from South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine awaits you here. Also pizza lovers will not miss out(only winter). The Mittager Alpine Hut is situated on 2,260m and offers a wonderful view of the Dolomites. It offers typical Tyrolean dishes.

Starting point: Telves di Sopra, fire station (1.250m) The mountain pastures tour starts at the fire station of Telves di Sopra. From there follow the path no. 5 for about 1,5h upwards to the mountain pasture Freundalm. Alternative: reachable also by using the cable car Rosskopf Monte Cavallo

The Madritsch Hut is located in Solda, below the Madritsch Pass in the middle of the mountain world around King Ortles. The hut can be reached via the large Solda panoramic cable car to the mountain station at 2,610 m. The family-friendly hiking trail along the summer pasture of Reinhold Messner's yaks takes you to the Madritsch Hut (2,820 m) in around 1 hour. On the sun terrace you will be enchanted by Tyrolean specialties and the breathtaking mountain scenery. The Madritsch hut, which is typically furnished with wood, was largely rebuilt in 2017 and furnished in a modern style. The kitchen spoils you with traditional South Tyrolean & Italian dishes such as Tyrolean dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In the Yak Bar, hot chocolate or coffee awaits you and in Europe’s highest igloo, cool beer, Willi afterwards and great après-ski music await you. Enjoy the unique view of the Ortler Group from the sun terrace.

Our kitchen offers homemade delicacies and vension specialties! Open from the middle of May to 1st of November and from mid December to Easter. You can reach us from the parking lot Altfasstal in 30 minutes.

Malga Contrin is located on a sunny hill in the middle of unspoiled nature on the Alpe di Siusi at 2011 m altitude and can be easily reached in summer and winter. Enjoy traditional and local dishes and the beautiful view from our panoramic-sun-terrace. From Weißenbach/Rio Bianco we are easily reachable in an approx. 20 minute walk. The trail is also suitable for baby strollers.There is a large sandbox for the children. Our hut is also reachable by mountainbike.

In the cold season a prepared winter hiking trail, a cross country track and a toboggan run – which are also illuminated - lead to our hut.

The Höfer Alm alpine pasture will remain closed in the 2025 summer season. The Höfer Alm Alpine hut is a popular destination in summer as well as in winter. On the sun terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains of the Ötztal Alps and the Ortler Group. The Höfer Alm spoils guests with homemade food and serves South Tyrolean fare and daily specials on its small menu. Hikers will certainly get their money's worth here. Without much effort, the hut at 2,066 metres altitude is easily accessible from the Watles valley station.
