Welcome to the mountain lodge Plosehütte! At the legendary height of 2447 meters above sea level you can spend a wonderful lodge holiday in South Tyrol. Close to the sun, surrounded by alpine scenery and the beautiful Isarco Valley at your feet – we can accommodate groups, families and outdoor enthusiasts. In every season we are a perfect base from which to set off on fantastic nature adventures. The refuge offers an inviting dining room with bar, which can accommodate up to 120 people. Also a traditional parlour (“Stube”) with 40 seats is available at the lodge. A sunny terrace in summer and winter offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views and the delicious food.

The Malga Laranzer Schwaige is situated in 1925 m at Saltria near the station on top of the Floralpina skilift. The Hans & Paula Steger Path, which leads you from Compatsch via meadow and alpine places to Saltria, passes directly the Malga Laranzer Schwaige. The panoramic view to Saltria, the Lang- and Plattkofel and the mountains of Val Gardena is wonderful!

In this natural alpine hut, which is handled as a real insider tip, you can enjoy simple, homemade delicacies, partly made from the farms own products such as butter, yogurt and cheese. In addition to the quaint coziness and dreamlike location, it’s the culinary expertise of Franz Pernthaler that has made gastronomes the world-over recommend the Schatzer Lodge. The excellent menus, prepared every evening by the lodge’s chef for the guests, have to be compared with, but do not pale in comparison to, those that the majority of the so-called gourmet restaurants offer their diners. And thus the chef ‘de Cuisine’ daily conjures up new Lucullian marvels based on traditional Tyrolean cuisine, and thereby is the freshness of his ingredients particularly close to heart. These ingredients and his creativity secure him over and over again the admiration of his guests.

Hmmm, what a wonderful food fragrance touches my nose? I smell the warm sweetness of the potatoes and the spice smoked bacon. This mixture is refined, only just picked fresh alpine herbs and already on my plate! Appetite to get our Tyrolean Geröstl, or can it would rather be a freshly baked apple pie? The food on our mountain hut of Mahlknechthütte is very tasty and all meals are prepared with love.

Enjoy on our terrace typical regional dishes, prepared with different herbs from our own garden. Our cook set great store by using fresh products from best quality. After an exciting walking-tour a traditional snack with a good wine from South Tyrol expect You. Of course You must also taste our sweets. All our desserts are self-made!

We invite you to our culinary highlights of the South Tyrolean cuisine – traditional or with a new interpretation. Enjoy our south tyrolean break or our homemade cakes and desserts – and last but not least the stunning panoramic view on the Alpe di Siusi. We try to develop a close collaboration between the region’s agriculture and the tourism sector. RUSTIC - The old farmhouse parlour is more than 150 years old and comes from Val Pusteria. This special wood spreads a very pleasant and cosy atmosphere. COSY - Using a professional mixture of tradtional and modern style and the combination of the old wood from local forests with natural stone and glass create this special alpine flair AUTHENTIC - Food should be consumed there where it is grown and harvested – according to this principle we are buying food, ingredients and drinks from local farmers of the area.

The Latzfons Cross (2.300m) is the highest pilgrimage site in South Tyrol and one of the highest in Europe.

We serve hot food all day. Here on the alp we serve hearty treats and our own produce such as home-made alpine butter, home-smoked speck bacon and Kaminwurzen sausages, home-reared roast lamb, bacon and cheese dumplings and much more. Stay with us for a while on the sun terrace surrounded by animals and alpine flowers and enjoy a nice cappuccino and apple strudel with cream.

Welcome to the Lingeralm, visit us on the middle of the sunny Lingeralm Möltner plateau. In our tavern with panoramic views we will spoil you with typical South Tyrolean dishes and cakes and snacks . For the little ones , but also for our great guests we have all sorts to offer. A large sun terrace , plenty of space to romp for the kids and a small children 's playground with swings .

The Lercheralm is a hut in Oberwielenbach and a popular excursion destination - also with baby carriage and Mountainbike.

The Bonner Hütte refuge can be reached via idyllic landscapes from Dobbiaco and the Val Casies Valley. Highlight: sunrise on the mountain Toblacher Pfannhorn followed by an alpine breakfast. The Wurzer Alm (1707 m) is a typical mountain pasture and is wonderfully situated in the middle of lush meadows. Stop off and eat well - marvel at the mountains - watch our animals - and relax!

The refuge is reachable also by Gardenacia cableway, then about 40 minutes on foot. Completely restored during spring 2009; run by Nagler family of Badia.

The Hochrautalm, or Alpine pasture Hochrautalm, is accessible from Taisten. It is preferable to travel to the starting point with the Citybus Welsberg-Taisten line 438. In Taisten, you start from the parking lot (€) above the mountain inn Mudler and enjoy a pleasant hike either along the forest road (marked with signs 31/5A/5) in about 90 minutes or, alternatively, take the forest road first and then the shortcut (marked with signs 31/5A/5C) in about 40 minutes. Once you reach the Hochrautalm Alpine pasture, you can indulge in South Tyrolean specialties for both young and old, as well as enjoy a breathtaking view towards Antholz and Kronplatz. Marvel at gentle green hills and distinctive mountains... All of this combined with delights like dumplings or apple strudel! Or perhaps you'd prefer a burger?

At the family-run Oberbergalm hut, you can taste home-made, lovingly prepared dishes that reflect the traditional taste of the region. As highlight you can for sure count, that the farm’s own meat is served here. The quiet, idyllic location of the terrace and the stube (snug) offers you a perfect time-out. The Tschötsch Alm is open daily from 8:30 a.m. till 17:30 p.m. We serve warm dishes from 11:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. In the evening, we can prepare special treats for you, upon request. Cordial hospitality is a core value. You can reach us via numerous hiking trails, mountainbike routes, snowshoe hiking trails, and ski slopes.

Traditional tyrolean dishes

The rifugio Vicenza is located in the hearth of the Sassolungo group, from where you can admire the wonderful view. The restaurant offers traditional and home made dishes. Open all day.

Our cuisine is known for hearty Tyrolean cuisine. Local wines and juices round out the lunch break at our terrace or in the large dining or in the parlor from. In the afternoon we spoil you with coffee and homemade cakes.

At the Uwald Alm hut you can look forward to daily special dishes and all-time classics, with a strong emphasis on quality. Regional beers and wines complement your experience. Since almost 40 years now, you are able to relax and enjoy life at the Kaser Alm in a wonderfully secluded and peaceful location. Here you can look forward to regional, homemade specialties like the Kaseralmburger with meat produced on the owner’s farm. At the Randlhütte hut Annelies is preparing for you simple, homemade dishes since 1994, often using products from their farm. The hut offers a special atmosphere, complemented by homemade and regional drinks. In the small kitchen or on the sunny terrace you’ll surely find a place to linger. The Brixner Hütte is on the Pfunderer Höhenweg, with continuous warm kitchen and possibility to sleep for 40 people. Open from mid June to mid October. From the Fane Alm to the Brixnerhütte it takes about an hour and 40 minutes.
