Welcome to Prastmannalm hut! We offer you South Tyrolean specialties and products from own production. You can reach us from Kasern/Casere on a hiking trail or on a paved road (suitable also for mountain bikes, baby strollers and wheelchairs).

In the cold season you can reach us on a winter hiking trail, on foot or with snow shoes, and on the sunny cross-country track Kasern/Casere.

The Gampen Alp is the ideal hiking destination for the whole family and a wonderful sunny spot with a view of the great Laugen (2383 m). Guests are served homemade, traditional dishes. In addition, various types of cheese and yoghurt are produced on the alpine pasture. The Bacherhütte is an ideal finish after a calm hike with the family. Open from mid May to end of October and from the beginnings of Dicember to Easter. You can reach the Bacherhütte from the parking lot Gitschberg in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The Malga Prossliner hut lies in the zone Tschapit at the foot of the Sciliars. She is attainable over the walk 10 from Spitzbühl or over the geologist path, starded from Bagni di Razes (Siusi allo Sciliar) Enjoy delicious dishes and home-made cakes

At the mountain restaurant Puflatsch, you can enjoy typical South Tyrolean Cuisine with its specialities such as 'Speckknödel mit Rindsgulasch', Schlutzkrapfen etc. During the summer, our large sun terrace is the right place for a well-earned rest and a cosy lunch or a South Tyrolean 'Marende' (snack). Or simply relax in the rustic ambience of our restaurant or our comfortable lounge.

Starting point: upper Gasse (1.500m) The hiking tour starts in Gasse in Ridanna. You can also take the car and drive on for about 15 minutes. Turn left towards “Entholz” and at the sign to the Valtiglalm drive on about 2 kilometers until you reach a wooden bridge, where you can park your car. Earthy alpine hut in the end of the valley "Alftasstal" with animals and rockery. Continuous hot food; on Sundays and on holidays, BBQ specialties. You can reach the Pranter Stadl Hütte from the parking valley "Altfasstal" in 90 minutes.

Starting point: Val Ridanna – Masseria (1.370m) From the park area at the village center of Masseria walk along the transit road to the Hotel Schneeberg, along the asphalted road to a fork, where you turn left and follow the signpost Martalm. Then continue on relatively flatter ground along the asphalted road, past the heating system of the Hotel Schneeberg, through an underpass and uphill in serpentines to the farm Staudnerhof. Pass the farmhouse and continue to walk on a gravel path in the Staudenberg valley. Along the river Staudenberg towards the valley to the first left bend and along a forest path following the signposts “Martalm”. After a short flat section you reach the mountain pasture. Alternative: starting from Bergl (1.560m) the walk time is about 30 minutes
