Warm meals: from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. NEW: a wood ball track await the children. Kids can race wooden marbles through an adrenaline-packed obstacle course, negotiating dizzying curves plus all sorts of bumps and hurdles.

There the young team will spoil you with tasty snacks, including the coveted "Dochbrett", smorgasbord of the best things the alpine pasture has to offer, as well as of course freshly prepared hot dishes. Highlights also the self-made dishes made with fresh dairy products from their own dairy. If you have to bow out wanting more, you are welcome to purchase several alp products to bring a piece of alpine pasture to your own kitchen table. Situated near the village of Karthaus, at 2323 meters above the sea level, you will find the highest alpine pasture where produce cheese in South Tyrol- the "Penaud Alm". In about 2,5 hour comfortable walking time you reach the alpine pasture from the parking lot in Karthaus. The Alp is similarly accessible through the Niederjöchl, starting in St. Martin im Kofel. The steeper rise follows a leisurely hike through the Penaud valley and about 4,5 hours you`ll arrive the "Penaud Alm".

Rableid Alm is situated at an altitude of 2,004 m above sea level in one of the most game-rich valleys of South Tyrol, in the heart of the largest nature park in South Tyrol, the Texel Group Nature Park. One of the most spectacular sections of the Merano High Mountain Trail runs through Pfossental valley too. Hikers, nature lovers and tranquillity seekers alike are captivated by the unique flora and fauna of this high mountain valley. Enjoy a few peaceful hours in our rustic farmhouse parlour or on the sun terrace. Fortify yourself with a delicious hot meal accompanied by a glass of fine wine or treat yourself to a cool beer in a stone tankard. We will spoil you with our homebaked “Vinschger Paarlbot” bread and homemade cheese from our own Alpine dairy.

The Mastaunalm is situated above Madonna di Senales, in the high valley Mastaun. The Alpine pasture in summer time is attainable, in approximately one hour, over a way which is broad and rising slightly. The Mastaunalm this year is also open in winter - from saturday to sunday and for groups on request also on other days.

Built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena. It’s located on the sunny side in the middle of the Nature Park Puez-Odle with a stunning view on the Sassolungo and on the Odle mountains. The Rifugio Firenze was built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena by the German-Austrian Alpine Club (DÖAV Regensburg). When in 1921, with the end of the First World War, South Tyrol was given to Italy, the administration of the hut was transferred to the CAI of Florence, which renamed it "Rifugio Firenze". In 2010, after almost 90 years in hands of CAI Florence, the hut was entrusted to the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, which still owns it. Open in summer from 1st June until mid of October

The Alpine Star hut is located at 2,045 m above sea level in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten nature park. The tranquility of nature, the magnificent all-round panorama of the fascinating mountains of the Dolomites and the lake make this place special. The Alpine Star hut is easily accessible by foot, by mountain bike or by horse-drawn carriage. You can reach the hut on hiking trail number 7 from Compaccio. It takes about 1 hour. We are closed when the weather is bad, as we only have tables and seats outside.

Very special culinary highlights, a beautiful view of the mountainous landscape, a children's playground and a mini petting zoo are waiting for you at the Schönbergalm hut. It is an ideal hiking destination for families with kids: the hut is reachable also with baby strollers.

The Matscher Alm alpine pasture is located at 2,050 m. From the Glieshof farm, take the forest path no. 2 on the right side of the valley to reach the Matscher Alm alpine pasture, which takes about 1 hour. Various tours, such as the "Vinschger Höhenweg", lead past the Matscheralm. It is one of the most popular excursion destinations and alpine dairy farms in the Upper Vinschgau. A lot of emphasis is placed on local products, and a wide view of the Matschertal valley enchants on the alpine pasture.

For lunch, we also have a large self-serve restaurant with 300 seats indoors and 120 seats on the sun terrace which is open from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At the Lazaun Refuge, fun meets good things Deciding to take a break at the Lazaun Refuge means regenerating amid nature, as well as enjoying the pure mountain air. Summer or winter, Val Senales offers a host of opportunities for all: hiking, walking, sledding, skiing, events, a playground with a small zoo for children-- here, everyone can find their place in the sun.

Visit us at 2.214 meters above sea level. Breathtaking views in the surroundings of mountain peaks await you on the idyllic hike up to the Bergl Alm. After walking through roaming larch forests stop at the cozy Café for some delicious regional food – these are just some of the many adventures awaiting you on your hiking trip through the famous Val Senales (Schnalstal). You can easily reach us via one of the many hiking routes, some of which lead all the way to Kortsch/Schlanders in Vinschgau. The Bergl Alm is the perfect spot for families with children, who will be able to play freely in the alpine meadow and our own little playground, while their parents relax in the sun.

Tasty homemade specialities made from natural ingredients from mountain pastures together with fine wines from Peter's wine cellar await you.

Gourmet cuisine with homemade specialities at the foot of the Teufelsegg slope! We attach great importance to the use of regional products and local meat.

In summer, the starting point for hikes and mountain tours in the winter apres ski. Wonderful lawn with a large playground.

The Melager Alm is an idyllic hiking destination. Easy access to easy forest paths. Ideal for families with children as the hiking trail can also be done with the baby carriage. On the Melager Alm guests will be spoiled with regional delicacies.

Mountain hut with gastronomy on the Lüsen Alps

Here every guest is satiated with the products of our farm. We fulfill your wishes, we have our feet on the ground, we offer you a family atmosphere, we are sincere and authentic. The Furkel Hut is beautifully situated at 2,153 meters above Trafoi in the Venosta Valley and is an ideal destination for mountain enthusiasts. The hut can be easily reached via the Trafoi chairlift or by foot along the well-marked trail No. 17 in about two hours. Once you arrive at the Furkel Hut, you will be welcomed by the cozy sun terrace, which invites you to linger. Here, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and be enchanted by the impressive views of the heavily glaciated Ortler massif. The majestic glaciers and peaks of the Ortler region create a spectacular backdrop that captivates nature lovers of all kinds. Whether for a short break during a hike or simply to relax – the Furkelhütte offers warm hospitality and culinary delights amidst a breathtaking mountain setting.

The Leadner Alm alpine hut lies in the centre of the hiking and relaxation area of the Tschoegglberg range, above the villages Hafling and Voeran. The alp has a large meadow where you can relax on the grass, and a toboggan run for children in winter. The mountain hiking trails are open also in winter.

Original and cosy with food available all day. An „insider tip“ for all those who want to sit and enjoy nature and landscape with a nice meal and a glass of fresh alpine milk. The Kuhleiten hut is open during the whole summer and winter season and easily reachable for everyone on a comfortable hike from the upper ropeway station and the circulating cableway.

The Hut "Schafstallhütte" is located at an altitude of 1500 meters above Kastelruth. In this rustic alpine hut, you can expect warm hospitality and homemade traditional South Tyrolean specialties. The hut can be reached on foot in 15 minutes from the top station of the Marinzen cable car via trail no. 9. From Kastelruth, trail no. 8 leads via the Witches' Chairs to the Schafstallhütte. Open only during the summer months.

From Naturns to Schnalstatl and turn off at the Pfossental to the Gasthaus Jägerrast, park there and walk for 1.5 hours on foot to the Eishof.

Our hut is situated on the Sella Pass in the middle of the breathtaking Dolomites scenery. Thanks to its position between Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, you can enjoy a fantastic 360° view. In winter you can reach us directly via the Sellaronda. In summer, however, you can reach us either from the Sella Pass after a comfortable 25-minute walk or from Campitello di Fassa with the Col Rodella cable car and after a 20-minute walk downhill towards the Sella Pass. Another option to reach us is by bike in 10 minutes from the Sella Pass or downhill from the Col Rodella cable car towards the Sella Pass in only 5 minutes. A large selection of creative culinary dishes from South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine awaits you here. Also pizza lovers will not miss out(only winter). Our hut is located on the same-named mountain Stevia (2.312 m), in the natural park Puez Geisler and in the UNESCO world natural heritage. Enjoy with good local cuisine our comfortable atmosphere and our unique location with a breath-taking panorama view.

The K2 Hut is located at an altitude of 2,350 m, directly at the mountain station of the Langenstein chairlift. This location offers not only breathtaking views but also the opportunity to fully enjoy the fresh mountain air. The terrace of the mountain restaurant, which stands out for its unique archi-tectural design, invites you to bask in the sun in a relaxed atmosphere – with a direct view of the impressive Ortler. The menu at the K2 Hut is diverse: daily specials, juicy steaks, and delicious fish specialties are served, delighting both gourmets and hikers. A special highlight is the homemade apple strudel, which should never be missed during a visit. The K2 Hut is accessible via hiking trails 3 and 4. Alternatively, you can also conveniently reach the hut by the Langenstein chairlift.

Wir bewirten Sie gerne auf unserer großen Panoramaterasse sowie im Garten mit Liegewiese. Es finden im Sommer verschiedene Veranstaltungen statt wie das Brotbacken im urigem Steinbackofen, wo Sie miterleben können wie das Brot entsteht und natürlich gibt es auch Brot zum mit nach Hause nehmen. Zu Mittag gibt es Grillfeiern sowie Fondue auf Vorbestellung.
