Located directly on the Meraner Höhenweg, we are the ideal starting point for hikes in and around the Texel Group Nature Park and offer our guests in addition to cozy Brettljausen, warm cuisine with traditional and international dishes and a cozy place to sleep everything your heart desires. From Algund by chairlift, car, or on foot (about 1/2 hour) to Vellau. From there with the basket lift or on foot (about 1 1/2 hour) continue directly to Leiteralm. You can also reach us from Dorf Tirol via Hochmuth u. the Hans-Friedenweg. Guests wishing to enjoy the unique "Meraner Höhenweg" (No. 24) will find ideal conditions for boarding and accommodation

Shelter with restaurant along the european long disctance trail E5 in the hiking and skiing area Meran 2000/Hafling.

From Obertal (1.298 m) in Jaufental, turn left to the hamlet of Ontratt and follow the alpine road respectively the new created hiking trail into the valley. Along the trail we cross the Gurgl cascade, which rushes imposingly over rocky territories and pulverizes the water-molecule. Continuing on trail no. 12A, we take the last few metres before reaching the Bergalm mountain pasture with its alpine dairy.

At 1530 m, idyllically situated between the pilgrimage site of Maria Weissenstein and the Bletterbach Gorge and the Corno Bianco, we welcome you. On our family-run alpine pasture we offer typical South Tyrolean dishes and homemade cakes and desserts. The Malga Petersberger Leger Alm can be comfortably reached in 35-40 minutes from the car park in Maria Weissenstein - also with prams. From the Malga Laab Alm in Nova Ponente it is about 30 minutes on foot. We are also open in the evenings on reservation. Hot food from 11.30 a.m. to 04.00 p.m.

The Malga Prossliner hut lies in the zone Tschapit at the foot of the Sciliars. She is attainable over the walk 10 from Spitzbühl or over the geologist path, starded from Bagni di Razes (Siusi allo Sciliar) Enjoy delicious dishes and home-made cakes

At the Uwald Alm hut you can look forward to daily special dishes and all-time classics, with a strong emphasis on quality. Regional beers and wines complement your experience. The Zischgalm hut is situated dirextly under the Latemar (during winter on the Panoramica slope and the "Campo scuola" of the Ski school Pampeago). The hut is summer and winter cozy accessible on the winter trail of Obereggen. Hot food from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Chalet on the center of the Salten. You can reach us from Meltina (parking area Schermos), from Verschneid or from Jenesien always in an hour by foot. We're opened every day from Easter to the middle of November and than just Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The idyllic Schönrastalm in Aldein/Aldino stands for: really delicious alpine breakfast, juices, egg dishes and top South Tyrolean cuisine.

The Fiecht Alm is located above Weißbrunn in St. Gertraud in the Ultental Valley. Starting point: Weißbrunn (1,884 m), hiking trail no. 101, end point: Fiechtalm, walking time: 40 min, difference in altitude: 179 m (easy mountain tour)

Trejeralm in the ski area Speikboden

The idyllic Soy Alm is located at 2072 metres above sea level. From Café Hölderle in Val Martello, you can reach the rustic Soy Alm via a challenging, steep path through forests and wide meadows. Once at the top, you can savour typical dishes and enjoy the unique view.

The Rifugio Oltradige al Roen/Überetscher Hütte faces the Dolomites with a stunning view over the Adige's Valley. Lots of trails head to the Rifugio, from the most demanding to the simplest one, wich is also suitable for baby buggy. Right behind the Rifugio starts an easy via Ferrata that leads to the top of Monte Roen, the view up there is even more astonishing. The Rifugio offers the possibility to stay overnight, that gives the guests the chance to enjoy the sunrise coming up from the Dolomites.

Thanks to the varied flora and fauna , a hiking trip to our Bärentalalm is a special experience for the whole family. Visit us in our own cheese dairy, where various cheese products and butter are produced, and enjoy typical Tyrolean cold-cut dishes.

The hut is reachable easily also with baby strollers and mountain bikes.

Especially the location of our cottage will delight you for Pfroder Alm, ist near from the Totenkirchl. You can also enjoy our panoramic view.

The Sattler Cottage is a very well-located, calm mountain alp below the Möltner Kaser .

The Gasthof Jocher is located in the middle of alpine meadows directly below the Vigilius church. Accessible by cable car, chairlift and a leisurely hike, the traditional inn awaits you after careful renovation, with a new sun terrace and cosy dining rooms. Chef David and his kitchen team prioritise good and above all local food and products. Passionate craftsmanship and South Tyrolean hospitality do the rest.
