At the Messnerhütte hut, the focus is especially on home-made dishes and conscious enjoyment. The slogan “We don’t serve fast food! We serve fresh food as fast as we can!“ sums it up just perfectly. Welcome to the Lingeralm, visit us on the middle of the sunny Lingeralm Möltner plateau. In our tavern with panoramic views we will spoil you with typical South Tyrolean dishes and cakes and snacks . At the Randlhütte hut Annelies is preparing for you simple, homemade dishes since 1994, often using products from their farm. The hut offers a special atmosphere, complemented by homemade and regional drinks. In the small kitchen or on the sunny terrace you’ll surely find a place to linger. Ski hut directly on the slopes.

The Hochrautalm, or Alpine pasture Hochrautalm, is accessible from Taisten. It is preferable to travel to the starting point with the Citybus Welsberg-Taisten line 438. In Taisten, you start from the parking lot (€) above the mountain inn Mudler and enjoy a pleasant hike either along the forest road (marked with signs 31/5A/5) in about 90 minutes or, alternatively, take the forest road first and then the shortcut (marked with signs 31/5A/5C) in about 40 minutes. Once you reach the Hochrautalm Alpine pasture, you can indulge in South Tyrolean specialties for both young and old, as well as enjoy a breathtaking view towards Antholz and Kronplatz. Marvel at gentle green hills and distinctive mountains... All of this combined with delights like dumplings or apple strudel! Or perhaps you'd prefer a burger?

With fresh ingredients and a passion for perfection, we'll prepare mouth-watering dishes for your personal enjoyment. Come and experience it with all your senses! The Tschötsch Alm is open daily from 8:30 a.m. till 17:30 p.m. We serve warm dishes from 11:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. In the evening, we can prepare special treats for you, upon request. Cordial hospitality is a core value. You can reach us via numerous hiking trails, mountainbike routes, snowshoe hiking trails, and ski slopes.

The Latzfons Cross (2.300m) is the highest pilgrimage site in South Tyrol and one of the highest in Europe.

At the Aschtalm hut, a family-run alpine hut, you can taste homemade alpine dishes that combine tradtional recipes and some really special meat. The newly constructed hut amidst the impressive Dolomites on 2.164 m, offers a beautiful sun terrace and a Tyrolean snuggery where you can enjoy delicious South Tyrolean food. You can reach the family managed hut from Ponticello over the hiking trail no. 4 (time required: ca. 2 1/2 hours), from Prato Piazza over the hiking trail no. 3 (time required: ca. 3-4 hours) or from the lake of Braies over the hiking trail no. 4 (time required: ca. 3 hours). In the winter time the Rossalm hut is open from the beginning of februray till the end of march!

The Brixner Hütte is on the Pfunderer Höhenweg, with continuous warm kitchen and possibility to sleep for 40 people. Open from mid June to mid October. From the Fane Alm to the Brixnerhütte it takes about an hour and 40 minutes.

Our kitchen does not only typical classics like bacon dumplings or pancake, but also daily specials, so that you can start well nourished.

The Malga Laranzer Schwaige is situated in 1925 m at Saltria near the station on top of the Floralpina skilift. The Hans & Paula Steger Path, which leads you from Compatsch via meadow and alpine places to Saltria, passes directly the Malga Laranzer Schwaige. The panoramic view to Saltria, the Lang- and Plattkofel and the mountains of Val Gardena is wonderful!

Traditional tyrolean dishes

Homemade South Tyrolean specialities provide a welcome refreshment at lunchtime. The hut is just five minutes on foot from the Saltria bus stop and 100 metres from the valley station of the Florian chair lift, which is in operation both in summer and in winter. During the winter season, the ski slope leads directly to the hut.

At the family-run Oberbergalm hut, you can taste home-made, lovingly prepared dishes that reflect the traditional taste of the region. As highlight you can for sure count, that the farm’s own meat is served here. The quiet, idyllic location of the terrace and the stube (snug) offers you a perfect time-out. At our restaurant you are served dishes typical to the area such as delicious starters, plain yet tasty meat and egg dishes as well as the South Tyrolean Brettljause, a local snack that will make your mouths water. Power outlet is available for E-bikes

The rifugio Vicenza is located in the hearth of the Sassolungo group, from where you can admire the wonderful view. The restaurant offers traditional and home made dishes. Open all day.

The Bonner Hütte refuge can be reached via idyllic landscapes from Dobbiaco and the Val Casies Valley. Highlight: sunrise on the mountain Toblacher Pfannhorn followed by an alpine breakfast. In this natural alpine hut, which is handled as a real insider tip, you can enjoy simple, homemade delicacies, partly made from the farms own products such as butter, yogurt and cheese. In addition to the quaint coziness and dreamlike location, it’s the culinary expertise of Franz Pernthaler that has made gastronomes the world-over recommend the Schatzer Lodge. The excellent menus, prepared every evening by the lodge’s chef for the guests, have to be compared with, but do not pale in comparison to, those that the majority of the so-called gourmet restaurants offer their diners. And thus the chef ‘de Cuisine’ daily conjures up new Lucullian marvels based on traditional Tyrolean cuisine, and thereby is the freshness of his ingredients particularly close to heart. These ingredients and his creativity secure him over and over again the admiration of his guests.

We serve hot food all day. Here on the alp we serve hearty treats and our own produce such as home-made alpine butter, home-smoked speck bacon and Kaminwurzen sausages, home-reared roast lamb, bacon and cheese dumplings and much more. Stay with us for a while on the sun terrace surrounded by animals and alpine flowers and enjoy a nice cappuccino and apple strudel with cream.

The Wurzer Alm (1707 m) is a typical mountain pasture and is wonderfully situated in the middle of lush meadows. Stop off and eat well - marvel at the mountains - watch our animals - and relax!

Hmmm, what a wonderful food fragrance touches my nose? I smell the warm sweetness of the potatoes and the spice smoked bacon. This mixture is refined, only just picked fresh alpine herbs and already on my plate! Appetite to get our Tyrolean Geröstl, or can it would rather be a freshly baked apple pie? The food on our mountain hut of Mahlknechthütte is very tasty and all meals are prepared with love.
