During the guided hike from St. Zyprian to the Tschafon mountain hut, a breathtaking view of the Rosengarten massif and the surrounding Dolomites awaits you. In the cosy family-run Tschafon mountain refuge you will enjoy a special mountaineer breakfast with regional products from South Tyrol, before the hiking guide Michaela takes you back to the starting point. If you want to enjoy the spring nature a little longer, you can extended the tour to the cross on the Völsegg Peak/Monte Balzo (approx. 25 min) and hike than back to St. Zyprian. The exhibition NATURAL ELEMENTS, taking place from May 31 to October 19, 2025, in Seis am Schlern, presents a selection of works by Ahrntal artist Alois Steger.

Working with multimedia, the artist, together with curator Eva von Ingram Harpf, has selected seven artworks for the village center of this Dolomite village, which integrate symbiotically into the historical setting.

Created from natural elements and materials, the works are designed to gradually change over the course of the exhibition due to weathering.

Experience the fascinating beauty of the Dolomites on a round trip with a small bus! Departure is from Völs am Schlern at 8:00 am, from Seis am Schlern at 8:10 am and from Kastelruth at 8:20 am. The route takes you from Völs to Kastelruth through the enchanting Val Gardena, over the Sella Pass and the impressive Pordoi Pass, up to the Falzarego Pass and on to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Lake Misurina awaits you there, where we take a break of about an hour. Here you have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant or enjoy some food you have brought with you while enjoying the view of the famous "Drei Zinnen". After a relaxing break, the journey continues into the Höhlenstein Valley and the historic town of Bruneck (no Stop). Arrival in Kastelruth is planned for around 17:00-17:30. The guide will speak German and Italian, but you are welcome to join the tour to enjoy the nature and beauty of the Dolomites. In the village center of Völs there is a weekly market every Wednesday from 08.00 a.m. - 12.00 noon.

The small but fine School Museum at Tagusens shows visitors and interested people the life of the pupils between the years 1933 and 1993 and is a unique collection of furnishings and teaching documents that have been preserved on site. The school life in Tagusens did not mean an encounter with the "foreign" world for the "ABC-Shooters". The children in the lonely place knew each other, only the teacher changed year after year. Furnishings and teaching objects were less worn than elsewhere and thus remained intact. Nostalgic feelings and memories are certainly not absent here and seduce to a bygone era. The school museum is open every Wednesday and Friday from 14:00-18:00 and every Sunday from 10:00-18:00. You do not need to register for a visit.

This walk is an absolute must for all those who have fallen in love with the unique world of flowers on Seiser Alm. Countless spring crocuses transform the Alm into a shimmering sea of lilac. In this region of flowers, delicate anemones mingle with snowdrops, primulas and the golden blossom of rock rose, the sky-blue gentian and the rose-pink striped daphne. And then the meadow grasses sprout up, interspersed with wild orchids, fringed pink, brunella, arnica, lilies, globeflowers and, and, and… A paradise of flowers unlikely to be found anywhere else on Earth.

At the Gostner hut you will get to know the herb garden in more detail and then prepare and taste typical herbs for an aperitif.

Discover the natural material clay with Katja Battisti. In the Peterbühl area of Völs—an archaeological site where finds from various eras, including the late Bronze Age and early Middle Ages, have been uncovered—you will explore different techniques and experiment with natural pigments from the local area to decorate your clay creations. Each participant will have the chance to craft a flower pot or decorative vase to take home. Additional Info: If desired, Katja can fire your items for you. This process will take about a week. Our hike begins at the Cabrio Cable Car in Tiers, which takes us to the Frommeralm. From there, we take the König Laurin I & II cable cars up to the Kölner Hut/Laurins Lounge. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains await us on the Hirzelsteig to the Paolina Hut. With the Paolina chairlift, we float down to the village of Karersee. From there, a picturesque path leads us over a suspension bridge to the mystical Karer Lake. The hike continues to the Moseralm, from where we take the Tschein chairlift back. After a final look at the breathtaking mountain panorama, the König Laurin Lift and the Cabrio Cable Car bring us back to Tiers.

The Tiers volunteer fire department invites everyone to the “Tierscher Grisufestl” at the civil defense center in Tiers. Food and drink are well provided for! A highlight of the evening is the charcoal-grilled chicken, which is a real treat for the taste buds. Younger visitors can enjoy themselves on the bouncy castle.

Relax in the early morning with yoga, the mindfulness and the breathing practiced evenly, consciously to this end, all muscles, tendons, ligaments and organs are activated. On the Calvary in Kastelruth the participants are surrounded by nature and silence and can get mental and physical strength for the day. Afterwards our athletic participants get a healthy breakfast. "Farmer's Market" The village square of Kastelruth is blooming with peasant life. The farmer's market is an attractive way to get a mix of regional products and delicacies. The market is a perfect opportunity to spend the morning strolling through the alleys and buying local produce. Here you can find everything from fresh vegetables & fruits, bacon, cheese to various organic herbal products. Many stalls sell locally made products that are unique and distinctive to the region.

Stephan Pramstrahler, head of the house, will accompany us through the exhibition. There will be time for creative exchange over an aperitif afterwards. Small flea market, big treasures! Every first Saturday of the month, a market awaits you behind the Kastelruth secondary school.

The hay baths in Fiè allo Sciliar have been practiced since 1903. During this guided tour, we will tell you about the culture and the healing effect of the hay bath. The hay bath originated from a tradition of the farmers who took their night's lodging in the hay barn during haymaking and noticed that after a night in the hay the tiredness of the previous day was blown away. Those who spend their wellness holidays around the Alpe di Siusi can relax in the hay according to an old tradition. The medicinal herbs such as thyme, arnica, cinquefoil and gentian unfold their full effect when you sweat. The grass for the hay bath, interspersed with the many medicinal herbs, is mown exclusively on unfertilised meadows, early in the morning or late in the evening, in order to preserve all the essential essences.
