The leisurely circular hike starts at the large Saltnerstein parking area and leads you to the mountain pine distillery at the Marzuner Schupfe. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Dolomites amidst the vast expanse of the alp. The lunch break takes place alternately in one of the hospitable alpine huts. Unforgettable hike on the bright side of Barbian. We guide you through the colorful splendor of the summer messengers, past historic buildings, streams, chestnut trees and much more. Meeting point at 10 o clock in front of the information office Barbian. Walking time: approx. 3,5 hours, return at 4:00 pm, difficulty of the hike: medium. Good shoes and rain protection is needed. For the guests of the member companies of the tourism association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns and Villanders the hikes are free of charge. Non-members € 8.00 per person. The meeting point is the parking lot at the valley station of the Jochtal cable car in Vals. From there, we will drive together in private cars to the starting point of the hike at the Fane Alm. Carpooling can be arranged on site. Please note: Parking at the Fane Alm is subject to a fee. Wilde Kreuzspitze (3,134 metres) is the highest peak in the Pfunders mountains, and commands a breath-taking all-round view of the Zillertal Alps. From the meeting point, we will drive together to the starting point of our excursion, located by the Fane Alm car park (1,700 metres). From there, we will take the forest path that leads through the Valler Schramme gorge all the way to the Labesebenalm pasture (2,138 metres). This is where the climb to the Wildensee lake (2,580 metres) and on to the Rauhtaljoch saddle (2,807 metres) begins. From the saddle, a somewhat exposed trail will lead us to the Wilde Kreuzspitze peak (3,134 metres). The way back to the starting point is via Rauhtal to the Brixnerhütte hut. Refreshment points: Fane Alm huts, Labiseben Alm hut, Brixner Hütte hut Total walking time: approx. 7 hours, covering a distance of 18 km and 1,400 metres of elevation gain. A unique evening hike during full moonlight. We set off on a hike, experience the sunset and stop off at one of the many huts on the extensive Rodenecker-Lüsner Alm (dinner not included). After a short refreshment stop, we experience the mystical atmosphere of a full moon night. Through the darkness, the moonlight and the silence of the evening, we perceive nature with all our senses. This challenging hike leads to two alpine lakes in the Schalderer Tal valley, ideal for a refreshing dip and picnic. After a short rest, we hike to the Lorenzischarte, which separates the Schalderer Tal from the extensive pastures of the Kühbergalm. In the middle of the Sarntal Alps, a postcard view opens up of the surrounding mountains and the Dolomite massifs opposite. The soccer players of 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 e.V. are training again in Natz-Schabs and on this special evening fans have the opportunity to experience their idols up close at the atmospheric "Summernacht-Feschtl".

This hike leads leisurely along beautiful alpine paths to the Stöfflhütte hut (2057 m). We enjoy marvellous views of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and hear interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the high moor along the way. Route: Kaseregg car park via Trinner Alm on trail no. 15 and no. 1 to the Stöfflhütte hut (refreshment stop), back via trail no. 1. Start: 9.30 am Kaseregg car park, hiking bus possible, walking time 3 hours, easy hike, return at 4.30 pm Kaseregg car park. The hike is free for guests of member accomodations, otherwise €10.00 per person.

23th Barbian Jogglfescht on Freeday, 25.07.2025 - Barbian village square Starting at 3:00 PM: Holy Mass with the "Jakobichor" in the Barbian Parish Church. From 4:00 PM, musical entertainment with various music groups. The Musikkapelle Barbian and Jakobichor cordially invite everyone.

In summer, eisacktalWein organises the traditional wine tasting "Treffpunkt Wein" under the large arcades in Brixen in collaboration with the Brixen Tourismus Genossenschaft. Several Eisack Valley winegrowers will set up their tables in the arcades and present their wines to a wide audience. There will also be cheese variations from DeGust Affineur and specialities from Naturbackstube Profanter. This special wine evening will also be accompanied by music.

Every year on the first Sunday in August the ancient miller's profession can be observed and discovered in the Ternertal Valley within the framework of the Mill Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.! Enjoy the splashing of the wooden water wheels while observing the grinding process in the old mills! You can savour local culinary delights such as home-baked bread, dumplings and fried specialities.
