In August, as part of Dine, Wine & Music, local gastronomy serves up gastronomic specialities paired with excellent wines from the Eisacktal Valley in front of the dreamlike backdrop of the Brixen Cathedral. Local hosts prepare their finest summer dishes, and you can try them all. The evening is rounded off by vibrant live music.

Summer night concert with the music band "Böhmisch Gold", accompanied by the folk dance group Villanders. The guests of the member of the cooperative Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns and Villanders can expect a vacation lottery with the raffle of some material prizes. Food and drink will be provided with sweet Villanderer Krapfen, Schüttelbrot and Kaminwurzen.

Do you know the menus of Hollywood stars and which soccer teams Italian ministers root for, but have no idea about local stars and starlets? Now that's going to change! What do our administrators eat for breakfast? So comes a zweisprachig, irreverent, fresh, direct and blunt talk show to get a closer look at the stars of the South Tyrolean hall of fame! Come and enjoy how host and comedian Gianluca Iocolano lovingly and critically examines the South Tyrolean establishment. As always, there will be two brilliant and scintillating guests of honor! Accompanied by Maestro Roberto Tubaro, who will transform the evening's wacky anecdotes into music, and also assisted by Patrizia Solaro, valet of yesteryear!

The traditional monthly market is held on the market square from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Get ready for an unforgettable day filled with joy, delicious food, and lively music! Musical entertainment will be provided by the youth band Mejuka and the duo "Die 2 Lustigen" who will ensure a festive atmosphere with their upbeat tunes. Culinary delights await you as well: savor traditional "Tirtlan" and delicious specialties from the grill. The Summer Festival kicks off at 7.30 p.m. in the village square of Rodeneck. This pleasurable festival on the Barbian fairground begins at 19.30. Musical entertainment will be provided by the "Barbmener Böhmische" and the "Jugendkapelle". The Barbian Tourist Association and the Barbian Music Band cordially invite everyone and look forward to your coming.

At the harvest from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on the church field in the centre of the village, the crops are cut with a scythe, bundled into sheaves and the Kornmandlan, or “grain people”, are stood up to dry. The arable crops are harvested. Visitors are invited to take part. The traditional Marende snack, called “Neinern“, is just as important as traditional equipment.

After the great success of previous years, dancing is back again this year at the Tschumpus. The courtyard of the former prison becomes a dance floor where the best electronic music of the local and national scene resounds. Mattia Lorenzi, Yasmin, Benz & Cave Studio will take turns at the console. An unprecedented clubbing evening under the stars.

The The Feast on the Rodenecker Lüsner Alps features many traditional delicacies and excellent entertainment! At 10 a.m., there will be a holy mass at the Pianer Kreuzwith musical accompaniment. Followed by festivities with lots of entertainment:

Manuel Randi is a brilliant musician whose versatility allows him to work with the most recognised artists on a national and international level. He is accompanied in the Tschumpus by Marco Stagni and Mario Punzi! The three musicians have grown together musically and manage to create a genuine dialogue in which the instruments merge into a single entity. From very soft tones to fiery flamenco rhythms and rock fusion explosions, there is hardly a mood that the three do not passionately orchestrate.

From August 30th to 14th September 2025, the local hotels and restaurants delight you with dishes based on the Barbian plum and in the stores you can buy special products such as plum bread, jam, plum strudel and much more. During the plum weeks guided plum excursions also take place in Barbian: On 3th. 6th and 16th September 2025 you will learn all kinds of interesting facts about Barbian's delicacy on the plum trail and enjoy great plum dishes at a stop. The Barbian plum can also be experienced individually on the plum trail. The local hiking guide will lead you on this easy circular hike to the show distillery. It goes past high moors, watercourses and alpine meadows. On the way, the lunch break is held alternately at a hut. Free of charge for holders of the Guest Pass and guests of member establishments. (Transportation and lunch not included)

For a long time, the chestnut was considered a “bread tree”, which mainly served as food for the poorer people. In the Eisacktal valley, the chestnut still has a special significance today, and the “Keschtnweg”, which starts at the Neustift monastery and stretches a total of 90 km to Vilpian, is known far beyond Brixen. Our hike starts in Klausen and takes us to Säben Monastery and then further along the Keschtnweg trail to Felthurns. We can stop for refreshments at the Buschenschank Huber (not included) before visiting Velthurns Castle (admission € 6.00, to be paid on site; children accompanied by an adult free of charge). Duration: ~3 h | 7 km | ↑ 450 m | ↓ 100 m | easy IMPORTANT: all guides are German and Italian speaking

The annual highlight of the summer season is the legendary Fane Festival. The festival continues to be a wonderful meeting place where old and young, locals and travellers come together to celebrate. Traditionally, the festival opens at 10.30 am with a field mass, after which the aroma of delicious delicacies wafts around the alpine huts: traditional farmhouse dishes such as various dumplings, Kasnockn, Tirtlan and all kinds of strudel are on the menu at the Fane Fest, and rarely are these delicacies prepared as authentically as here.

On September 14, 2025, the traditional Barbian Plum Festival will take place in Barbian from 10:00 a.m.. Entertainment with musical group. The Barbian farmers' wives and the brass band of barbian take care of your physical well-being with traditional plum dishes. We look forward to your coming!

Ready for an unforgettable adventure in the Dolomites? The day begins with an exciting ride on the funicular from Ortisei in Val Gardena, taking us up to an impressive 2,000 meters of altitude. After the ascent, we face a short but demanding climb to the Raschötz Hut. The steep path rewards us with spectacular panoramic views. We continue toward Ausserraschötz, where a brief hike-a-bike section awaits. The natural beauty of the landscape more than compensates for any effort. A challenging trail follows, featuring both short technical climbs and thrilling descents, before we enjoy a well-deserved break at the Brogles Alm.
