The walk over the broad gravel way to the “Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm” begins behind the “maso Steinwandter/Steinwandterhof” at S. Vito/St. Veit. At the advancement over the height way you have a great view on the green meadows and idyllic Braies Lake with its emerald-green water! The “Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm” is uninhabited. Walking time: 1 hour
Easy hike to one of the most beautiful alpine plateaus in South Tyrol amidst the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. From Ponticello/ Brückele (car park) you go for ½ km along the road and then along the winter hiking path. The last section leads along the road to the alpine plateau. Once at the plateau the alpine guesthouse invites you in.

In winter, the club offers an experience for young and old of a very special kind: sleigh rides with the beautiful horses in a cozy wooden sleds for maximum 2 persons. Directly from the stables then it comes in a beautiful winter landscape to Talschlusshütte where can strengthen at a comfortable rest horses and sledders. Overall, a sleigh ride takes about 2 hours.
The meadows of the Gsell mountain are an insider tip for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. The meadows of Inner- and Außergsell spread out on the north side of the mighty Dreischusterspitze. The Gsellwiesen meadows are traditionally mown and the larch meadows are evidence of the mountain farming landscape.
A hike of tranquillity - solitude and silence paired with magnificent panoramas. The view of the nearby peaks of the Sexten Dolomites and the Carnic mountain ridge and the impressive view down to Sexten are particularly rewarding.
You should bring your own food and refreshments, as there is no catered hut.
This easy ski tour that leads up to the Golfen/Monte Calvo is a pleasure tour. The tour can be done also soon even after snowfall.
IMPORTANT: Before starting any ski tour/snowshoe excursion, you must check the weather conditions and danger avalanches report (https://avalanche.report), asking also experts (alpine guides etc.).
The 5 km long Rotwand sledging trail in the Sexten Dolomites can be easily reached via the 6-person Rotwandwiesen cable car. The start is right beside the mountain station of the lift. From there, you go through woods and fields back down to the valley station.

When the sun barely comes out for two months in the village of Ferrara/ Schmieden and hides behind the vast mountain massif of the Sasso del Signore Mountain/ Herrenstein, the farms just above the village enjoy the bright sunshine. Enjoy the extended view of the Braies Valley during a hike along the sunny side of the village. Starting in Ferrara/ Schmieden or S. Vito/ St. Veit you follow the road leading to the highest farms in the village. The Moserhof guesthouse awaits you - warm up in the cosy rooms and taste some regional specialities. Starting point: Ferrara/ Schmieden (1,222 m) or San Vito/ St. Veit (1,340 m) Highest point: Moserhof (1,435 m)

On beautiful sunny days, such a Gsell round is the best, it is a beautiful and slightly challenging round. When the blue of the sky, the green of the meadows and the scent of the trees combine to form a picture, a wonderful harmony and beauty is created.

The Monte Baranci is the ski mountain for families. The four-seater chairlift is 3 minutes from the centre of San Candido and takes you up quickly to 1,500 m above sea level. The new footpath in the Nature Park Fanes-Senes-Braies, where you can find one of the most beautiful source of the country. The “way of sources” is also a part of the footpath nr. 37 and easy to go. On the way you can find some wooden information-points, where the flora and the fauna are described, as well as the of drinking water. It’s werth to visit the Maite, the name of the sources.
