This summer hike takes us along the sunny side of Toblach/Dobbiaco to the Steinbergalm/Malga Steinberg hut, which is easy reachable and offers a view on the world-famous Three Peaks.
From Brückele/Ponticello along the main road to the third turn, then follow the hiking path along the Stolla River to Stolla Alm/ Malga Stolla; continue up-and-down toPlätzwiese/Prato Piazza (1,993 m).
The walking time is 1.5 hours and the trail sign nr. 18
The Flodige is situated in the Nature Park Fanes Sennes Prags/Braies. From the summit you have a beatiful view over the Toblach/Dobbiaco lake and the village Toblach.
Frondeigen/Franadega is located above Toblach/Dobbiaco with a beautiful view of the village and the Dolomites.
The Sarlkofel/Monte Serla is situated in the Nature Park Fanes Sennes Prags/Braies. From the summit you have a beatiful view over Toblach/Dobbiaco.
On the way to the Silvesteralm/Malga San Silvestro hut you can see cows and horses.
The small chapel of Silvester/San Silvestro was constructed in the 12th century and is decorated with murals from the early Middle Ages.
The alpine hut "Langalm/Grava Longa" (known as "Long-Olbe" in the South Tyrolian dialect) is located at an altitude of 2283 m at the foot of the impressive north faces of the Three Peaks and only accessible by hiking.
The Fountain "ZweiWasserBrunnen" and the Labyrinth are part of the Water treasures of Dobbiaco/Toblach.
At the Fountain "ZweiWasserBrunnen" you can taste the two waters of Dobbiaco/Toblach.
The Labyrinth has a bubbler in the center as power source.

A walk with a view over the mountain of "Monte di Braies/Pragser Berg" with its traditional farm holdings and over Ferrara di Braies/Schmieden. Walking time: 1,5 hours
This easy hike starts in Niederdorf/Villabassa and takes you through idyllic meadows and forests to Toblach/Dobbiaco. After around 1.5 hours, you will reach Gustav Mahler's composer's cottage, where the famous composer wrote parts of his 9th and 10th symphonies.
The tour provides an insight into Mahler's creative period. Right next door, the Dobbiaco Wildlife Park invites you to observe the animals. The way back leads along the same route or via Altschluderbach back to Niederdorf/Villabassa.

The hike to Pfannhorn/Corno Fana is particularly recommendable because of the mountain panorama. As the mountain is already in the main Alpine crest you have a breathtaking view of all the famous Dolomite peaks, the Ortler group and the Ötztaler Alps. On the summit there is a panorama map on which all the mountains are signed.
The hike to the Lückeleschartl/Forcella del Lago is very beautiful. It passes at the Schafalm hut (closed) and at the lake Mitteralpsee/Lago Malga di Mezzo. Both points invate to a short break. From the Lückeleschartl you have a lovely view on the Three Peaks and the surrounding mountains.

This moderately difficult hike leads up to the Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza, a high plateau at 2,000 m above sea level with a breathtaking view of the Hohe Gaisel/Croda Rossa and the Cristallo.
The hike starts at the Vista Tre Cime and continues through the Valle di Rienza up to what is probably the most famous peak in the Dolomites, up to the Locatelli hut, from which you have an optimal view of the Three Peaks. The hike is considered a challenging alternative to the hiking trails from Misurina and the Fondovalle-hut of Sesto.

The Hochebenkofl/Cima Piatta Alta is the second highest mountain in Toblach/Dobbiaco, which can be reached without climbing. From there you can reach the highest mountain without climbing on a very exposed path, the Birkenkofel/Cima del Baranci, in about 15 minutes.
Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza is a high plateau on 2.000 m in the middle of the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags/Braies. There are different huts with refreshments. Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese is often considerd to be one of the most beautiful and unique high plateaus in the world and is a nature reserve.
The Open Air Museum on the Monte Piano of the First World War is one of the most important witness of the battles between Austria and Italy in the years 1915-1917. It consists of trench warfares, tunnels and emplacements.
The medium difficulty hiking is especially recommended on sunny days. The hike leads past the "WoodWonderWorld" (children's playground in the middle of the forest) and past the source of the Drava River.
The walk begins in the WoodWonderWorld, a playground in the forest and an adventure world and leads along a gravel path to the source of the Drau, about halfway between Dobbiaco and San Candido. It then goes Haselsberg and then leads back to Dobbiaco. Due to its quiet location, the relatively short walking time and the low degree of difficulty, the walk is particularly recommended for families.

The walk over the broad gravel way to the “Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm” begins behind the “maso Steinwandter/Steinwandterhof” at S. Vito/St. Veit. At the advancement over the height way you have a great view on the green meadows and idyllic Braies Lake with its emerald-green water! The “Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm” is uninhabited. Walking time: 1 hour
The Marchkinkele/Cornetto di Confine offers a beautiful view over the Pustertal /Val Pusteria valley and the Dolomites. The Marchhütte/Rifugio March hut is located just below the summit.
