Attention: the path is not cleared in winter and can be icy or covered with deep snow. Always make sure you have good shoes and appropriate equipment!
Take the car or bus over the Passo Palade and on towards San Felice. Approx. 1 km before reaching San Felice just after a large bridge, there is a car park right by the “Lochmann” bus stop. On the eastern side of the road, following the signs for trail no. 56, first turn right on a forest track through the trees, then left, climbing gently uphill until, after 1 hr 15 min, you reach the Tillwiesen (meadows; 1680 m) Now head slightly right keeping on trail 56 for 30 minutes to the cross (at 1775 m) outside Schönegg with wonderful views of the Tesimo low mountain range. Now turn right following trail no. 50 as far as the Moschen rise, and shortly thereafter continue right along trail no. 50 to the junction with trail no. 49. Now a side trip - head past the Felixer Alm to Felixer Weiher pond (10 minutes). Back to the alm and trail no. 49 and then 56 for 1 hr along a broad forest track descending gently back to the car / bus stop.
