This walking trail passes through sites of historical interest which narrate the story of Tiers am Rosengarten. In addition to the parish church, notable historic sites en-route include the schoolhouse, the ‘Galgenwiesl’ (Eng: “Gallows Meadows”) field and the St. Sebastian chapel, to name but three of the eleven stations. Each site is indicated by stone tablets and marker stones.
The history trail starts at the little church of St. Zyprian. From here, the trail goes along Nigerstraße road to the brick kiln “Ziegelofen” and along the former "Trimmdichpfad" No. 2 to the Tschamin Schwaige hut. Here you will find the information point "Steger Säge". Above Weißlahnbad, take trail no. 6 and later trail no. 4 up to the Wuhnleger lake. The trail first leads down over meadow slopes to the St. Sebastian Chapel and via the contemplation trail to the Thaler Bühel.
Now head west to Ansitz Velseck. Continue via trail no. 14 to the "Rutsche" (slide) and along the promenade trail to trail no. 6B and the courthouse (old schoolhouse) and the parish church of St. Georg in Tiers.

The starting point of the tour or the sight is easily and comfortably accessible by public transport:
By bus line 176 from Völs am Schlern to St. Zyprian or by bus line 185 from Bozen bus station to St. Zyprian.
To get here, take interurban bus no. 176 to Tiers am Rosengarten. The set-off point at the Tourist Information Office is south of the Tiers- Brunnenplatz bus stop on the main road..
