Leisurely winter walk around Antholz Mittertal, with beautiful views and traditional farms along the way.
The Mittertal winter circular walk is a pleasant and varied route around Antholz Mittertal. The tour combines quiet road sections with wintry woodland paths and passes traditional farms above the village.
The views over Antholz Mittertal and the surrounding mountains are especially beautiful. Thanks to its manageable length and easy route, the walk is ideal for a relaxed winter outing.
The starting point is the village center of Antholz Mittertal.
From there, first walk towards the Ausserweger sawmill. Turn right there and follow the paved road marked trail no. 11.
After a short distance, the route turns right again towards the Waldrasthof. At the edge of the forest, continue right on trail no. 6A.
The route passes the Wanzler Hof and then continues to the Eggerhöfe farms. From there, the path leads back downhill to the village center of Antholz Mittertal and the starting point.
From the Pustertal road, turn into the Antholz Valley and drive to Antholz Mittertal.
