The hike to the Mittertaler Ochsenalm is a varied tour above Antholz Mittertal. The route leads through shady forest sections, past alpine huts and along peaceful mountain trails up to the scenic Mittertaler Ochsenalm at 2,083 m.
Especially appealing is the combination of comfortable forest roads and the final steeper ascent to the alpine hut, which offers increasingly beautiful views over the Antholz Valley and the surrounding mountains.
Since the Mittertaler Ochsenalm is not managed, this hike is particularly suitable for those seeking peace and authentic alpine scenery. Thanks to several connecting trails, the tour can also be extended individually.
From the Pustertal road, turn into the Antholz Valley and drive to Antholz Mittertal.
