Itinerary

Starting from Velthurns Castle, follow trail no. 18 to Schnauders. Continue along trails no. 17 and no. 16 to Garn, then follow trail no. 10 to Verdings. From there, descend on trail no. 3 to Moar zu Viersch. The return route follows the Chestnut Trail back to Feldthurns.

Overview
Bus connections to Feldthurns: from Klausen with bus line 343, from Brixen with bus line 342.
Directions
Take the Klausen/Chiusa motorway exit. At the first roundabout take the first exit, and at the second roundabout take the second exit. Then turn right towards Feldthurns and continue to the village. At the village entrance, free parking is available on the left next to the fire station and on the right by the recycling centre. A paid underground car park is also available nearby.
