The hike starts at the Steinrast mountain restaurant. Initially, the path goes steeply uphill before becoming a bit flatter. You follow the hiking routes 4A and 4B until you reach the Kühbergalm. From there, you continue uphill until you reach the first of the two beautiful Kofelraster lakes. Past this lake, you turn left and follow the marked path 7, which becomes a bit steeper until you reach the summit. The descent is along the same path.
