Gothic chapel from 1510 featuring pointed windows, baroque stucco ceiling and rare secco wall paintings.

Saint John’s Chapel was consecrated on 12 November 1510 as a Gothic place of worship. Distinctive features include three pointed-arch windows and a flat wooden ceiling later embellished with fine baroque stucco work. Restoration revealed remarkable secco wall paintings from 1540, including an expressive Crucifixion scene.
