Experience the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp in winter– an expansive, family-friendly hike with panoramic views, art installations on the Creation Trail, and numerous places to stop for a warm break. Perfect for a relaxing winter day!
Begin your winter hike at the Zumis parking area, accessible from Rodeneck. The wide forest road no. 2 easily guides you to the Piana-Kreuz Chapel– and if you still have energy, you can continue up to Astjoch. Alternatively, take the Creation Trail no. 4, which runs parallel through the forest on the left and features artwork inspired by the biblical creation story.
This route offers variety and fun for the whole family. Along the way, you’ll find places to stop for refreshments and cross-country ski trails for extra winter fun.
Take your time on this hike to explore the small works of art along the Creation Trail and enjoy the cozy refreshment stops along the way.
The Almbus (no. 415) brings you directly from the Mühlbach train station.
From the petrol station in the centre of Mühlbach take the street down in direction to Rodeneck. Pass by the villages St. Pauls e Nauders to the house “Spritzenhütte” (old wooden house). Turn left and go up to the parking lot Zumis.
