Running trail: Along the Rienza river - forest nursery a Monguelfo

Start from the tourist office in Monguelfo. Follow along the Via Stazione to the Rienzbrücke bridge; immediately after the bridge is the entrance to Prenninger Park. From there, along the Rienza River to the district heating plant. From there continue to the railway underpass at the entrance to the Braies Valley. A slight ascent leads to the forest nursery and past two beautiful farms in the direction of Monguelfo. After the second farm, a short ascent and across the shooting range path takes you back to Monguelfo. This route is perfect for beginners, as the elevation gain is minimal. Half of the trail is on a forest path, where there is more shade, and the other half on a paved meadow path, where there tends to be sun.
