The Lower Engadin villages of Guarda, Ardez & Lavin and the Upper Vinschgau village of Matsch have a lot in common - the Rhaeto-Romanic language, the pristine mountain world and now the first cross-border multi-day tour from mountaineering village to mountaineering village.
Itinerary
The cross-border, approx. 70 km long multi-day tour appeals to experienced hikers and can be planned individually or booked as an offer. Three stages on the Swiss side lead from Guarda via the Chamonna Tuoi SAC hut, the Lai Blau mountain lake and over the Fuorcla Sesvenna. On the South Tyrolean side, long-distance hikers can reach the mountaineering village of Matsch from the AVS Sesvenna hut in a further three stages, along the Matscher Ackerwaal to the AVS Oberetteshütte.
