Hiking

Along the Videgg High Mountain Trail to the Videgg Mountain Inn

Prenn/Prenn, Schenna/Scena, Meran/Merano and environs

This family hike is particularly suitable on hot summer days, as the path runs largely through forest. The Videgg Mountain Inn is located in the mountain hamlet Videgg and awaits its guests with traditional South Tyrolean cuisine and a small petting zoo with mountain goats and mountain hares.
Itinerary
From Verdins take the cable car to Tall. From there the forest trail (no. 2A/2B) leads gently uphill through the forest towards Grube. At the fork, turn right through the forest in the direction of Videgg until the path eventually climbs up through the meadow to the Videgg Mountain Inn.  The return route is via the access road from Videgg to Tall and takes approx. one hour on foot.
