Take the Mont Sëuc cable car from Ortisei and ascend effortlessly to a stunning altitude of 2,005 meters – right onto the sun-drenched plateau of the Seiser Alm, one of the most breathtaking hiking areas in the Dolomites.
Your adventure begins at the top station of the Ortisei – Seiser Alm gondola. From there, follow the well-marked trail no. 9 to the left, leading first to the charming Schgaguler Schwaige – an ideal spot for a relaxing break and some delicious local dishes. Continue your walk through blooming alpine meadows until you reach the beautifully located Sporthotel Sonne, where a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding mountains awaits you.
Along the way, you'll cover a moderate total of 118 meters of elevation gain and loss – perfect for a relaxed half-day hike. You’ll return along the same scenic trail back to the top station, with plenty of chances to soak in the natural beauty of the Dolomites.
