Starting from the barrier near the farmhouses of Schintlholz in Gsiesertal Valley – Pichl, you follow the forest no. 51 road uphill for about an hour and a half until reaching the Houfa Hitte hut (1883 m, refreshment stop). The easy hike is also perfect for families with little children and even suitable for babie carragies.
