The Laas Apricot Trail invites you to enjoy a delightful journey through nature, culture and local tradition. Set within the unique landscape of the Venosta Valley, the trail leads through blooming orchards, past striking marble features, and offers beautiful views of the village and its surroundings.
Especially in spring during blossom time and in summer at harvest, the Laas apricot reveals its full charm. This route combines gentle activity with nature and regional highlights, making it ideal for anyone wishing to experience Laas at its very best.
This pleasant circular walk starts at the train station. From there, head left through the cemetery, then turn right onto Vinschgauerstraße towards the village square until you reach Zaingasse.
Follow the quiet Zaingasse and continue along trail no. 16 towards Sisiniusbichl, where you can enjoy beautiful views. On the way back, the route takes you past the charming Laas apricot orchard – a true highlight, especially during blossom and harvest season.
After crossing the main road, pass through the “Vinschger Gate”, an impressive marble sculpture, and follow the signs towards the Fohlenhof stud farm until you return comfortably to the train station.
