The annual SCHLOSS GAUDI music festival promises once again a unique experience between the ancient walls of Prösels Castle. Solo artist Medea Hinteregger from Brixen will open the evening with her unmistakably deep and soulful voice. This is followed by two young up-coming music groups: The seven-piece psychedelic rock band BlindApex and the alternative pop formation But Beautiful. This year, the hottest boy band from the Sciliar region will also be performing for the first time: Fratelli Stonati. This year's main act will be the Bolzano punk band Cemetery Drive. As in the previous year, the boy group Scamige Buben will round off the evening with their unique rap songs. Fee: € 17,00

Tobias Ennemoser, a tuba player from Tyrol, has taken to the streets on roller skates, playing the vastness of public spaces with a colorful array of instruments as a one-man marching band on wheels. His setup includes roller skates, a bass tuba, a megaphone, a keyboard, a drum, squeaking horns, and a drum computer. This musician is both mobile and quirky, and he's great fun to watch. A hippo is a lumbering animal. Despite its name, this band from the Welsh port city of Bristol has nothing to do with the gentle lumbering of a hippopotamus. The band combines the spontaneity of jazz with electronic soundscapes, using analog synthesizers and effects to create a melodic yet untamed and wild sound. The LanAntiqua Festival, organised by the LanAntiqua Association, aims to give "early music", which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, its deserved place in the cultural life of Lana. Summer Classics: Classic concert with the "SAGS Quartet" in the Culture House in Seis am Schlern. The four musicians Sonja Wallnöfer, Greta Franzelin, Sonja Oberkofler and Alex Designori came together through their shared South Tyrolean origins and energetic passion for chamber music. The four saxophonists completed their musical training in various places in Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The ensemble has been sharing its passion for music with audiences since 2020. The "SAGS Quartet" has already performed at various concert halls and festivals, including the Brucknerhaus Linz, the Alpen Classica Festival and the Kulturverein Musik & Kirche. The ensemble's repertoire includes original works and arrangements of classical and contemporary music, reflecting the broad spectrum of tonal facets of the saxophone. The ensemble's creativity and constant curiosity for other art forms helps the quartet to constantly come up with new ideas and ultimately interdisciplinary collaborations and performances. In this way, the "SAGS Quartet" gains a foothold in the world of music theatre, but also explores the fusion of literature and music. This joy of experimentation is uniquely reflected in the concert programmes. The four saxophonists have made a name for themselves not only as musicians who perform, but also as educators. In this respect, the young audience, the listeners of tomorrow, are very important to the ensemble. With their music education programme, they visit primary and secondary schools with the aim of introducing young audiences to the world of classical saxophone.
