That’s right, we make the best cheese! Thanks to our considerable expertise, knowledge and partners: our good cows.

The fresh mountain air is playing its part; our cheese farm on the Gostner Schwaige is located at 1900 meters above the sea level beneath Mt. Schlern in the Dolomites.  Here are our tasty products crafted from fresh alpine milk:

The Weltladen Schlern is located near the centre of Castelrotto and is run by volunteers from the surrounding area. It is the youngest among the 16 Fair Trade Shops in South Tyrol and opened its doors in November 2019. 

The concept of the shop is to support disadvantaged producers in the Global South through fair working conditions, wages and social projects instead of exploiting them in the current economic system. Imported food, cosmetics and handicrafts that can be bought in the shop are all Fair Trade certified. Selected South Tyrolean products offered in the shop promote small regional cycles and strengthen small-scale farmers.

Helmut Rier is a photographer who specializes in taking passport photos, portraits, application photos, passports and other social documents. He works with both professional cameras and digital cameras.                                                                                                      

Sports shop, ski rental, e- bike rental Seiser Alm  SPORT HANS, we are NEW on the Seiser Alm but due to our 40-years-experience and tradition as Sport Trocker, our shop is well known. Whether from Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern or Völs am Schlern – the family-friendly Seiser Alm ski resort is very close, and for more demanding undertakings, Val Gardena/Gröden is also easy to reach via good routes. The renowned “Sella Ronda” can thus be entered from Seiser Alm very well. For the cheese production the use high-quality milk from our farm only.The fresh and natural milk is refined into raw milk cheese.

In the center is the store Natura, a small but nice pastry and grocery store. Here you will find a selection of strudels, pastries, bread and groceries. All products are made with the highest quality standards and freshly prepared. For special occasions or requests you can also order a cake at Natura, made according to your wishes.                               

The woodcarver is a traditional craftsman who can carve figures and other objects out of wood. In Castelrotto there are woodcarvers who master their craft. They use traditional wood cutting tools such as saw, plane, file and carving knife. With their handicraft techniques they create unique works of art, made of the best wood. Different traditions and techniques form the basis for a variety of interesting figures and objects. Often the objects are sold as souvenirs, decorations or as gifts.
