This family hike is above all something special for animal lovers, as it leads directly next to the Altschluderbach animal park and also offers the opportunity to visit it directly. Native animal species such as deer, wild boar, roe deer, native birds and the like are kept there, but because of the large area and the location in the forest, they enjoy complete freedom.

Easy and romantic excursion through larch woods until the foot of Mount Einserkofels.
This hiking trail starts in Santa Maria, a hamlet of Dobbiaco and leads to Monte Rota. From there you have a breathtaking view of Dobbiaco, the lake of Dobbiaco, lake of landro up to the end of the Valle di Landro in Carbonin. There is also a place to stop at the summit hotel. The way back goes towards Valle San Silvestro.
Pleasant walk from Sesto, along the river (on the cycle path) to the Restaurant "Alte Säge"
On the top of the Strudelkopf/Monte Specie there is located a viewing platform which indicates all the names of the mountain ranges and the mountain summits visible all round.
Varied tour in a quiet area with beautiful view over Braies lake and the surrounding mountains. From the Braies lake turn right until the “Riedlhof” and continuing on the path until you reach “Casera Nuova/Kasern”, then turn left on the slightly rising and small path up to the “Sella di Monte Nero/Schwarzbergsattel”. The way down to the “Val Foresta/Grünwaldtal” is partly very steep and a short section is protected with a wire-cable. From “Val Foresta/Grünwaldtal” back to the starting point – Braies lake. This hike leads from the village center of Dobbiaco to the Aufkirchen campaign group, this path is considered moderately difficult. From Aufkirchen, a short path behind the Hotel Kirchenwirt takes you to Neunhäusler and finally from there, either in a westerly direction to Niederdorf or in an easterly direction to Dobbiaco. The hike is on the sunny side of Dobbiaco and offers an incredible panorama of the Dolomites. It is especially recommended for families.
You start from Moos and hike along the trail around Sexten to the hut Hennstoll (Signaue).
The roundtrack above Dobbiaco/Toblach leads to the quaintly Lachwiesen hut. Nearly at the beginning of the walk you arrive to the fountain "ZweiWasserBrunnen" where you have a beatiful view over Toblach.
The path of meditation, created in 1996, leads over several stations, which consist of granite blocks with bronze reliefs. The meditation trail to the Chapel " St. Peter am Kofel" is one of the oldest religious sancturary in the area. The chapel was originally built as a refuge for individual priests during the Migration Period. It was first mentioned in a document in 1329.
This peak offer you a wonderful view over the Braies Valley. From the skislopes “Kameriot” you turn left until “Buchsenriedl” and then further down to the alpine hut “Malga Pozzo/Putzalm”. Continue on the trail until “Forcella Serla/Sarlsattel”. From there, turn right down until the guide marker showing the mountain “Monte Lungo/Lungkofel”. A leisurely hike from Sesto to the idyllic Fischleintal/Val Fiscalina valley with a fantastic view on the Dolomites of Sexten.
The nordic walk starts at the car park east of Dobbiaco Lake (near Hotel Baur at the Lake) or at the car park west from Dobbiaco Lake (near the Seerestaurant). Make the round track in clockwise direction.
It is a very breathtaking place where you can see the wildlife.
An educational path with 11 stations leads around the lake.

This hike offers a wonderful view of the earth pyramids of Dobbiaco. The material of the earth pyramids dates back to the last Ice Age. The pyramids were created during a storm in 1834. During the hike you also have the opportunity to take a look at the famous Three Peaks.

The Bonnerhütte/Rifugio Bonner, the Marchhütte/Rifugio March, the Steinbergalm/Malga Steinberg and the Silvesteralm/Malga San Silvestro invite you to take a break.

It is a forest path of cosiness, no altitude difference and no special impulses. You will always have the village of Sesto on your left and pass the famous Sexten cemetery. From the reservoir through the forest to San Candido.
The hiking trail offers a wonderful view of Dobbiaco and leads past the Leitnstöckl chapel. The chapel is of great historical importance as it is one of the plague sticks and is reminiscent of the time of the Black Death in the Alps. The path leads through Dobbiaco and the sunny faction Wahlen.

From Brückele/Ponticello you turn right before the bridge across the river onto a forest path; at the chapel turn right again to Postmeisteralm/Malga Posta, continue upwards until shortly before the Portella/Törl) and along the western slope to the summit. Alternative: departure from alpine hut “Rossalm/Malga Rossalm” from the alpine hut “Rossalm/Malga Rossalm” upwards to Kuhglättenpinggl; continue in a northerly direction to the big Val Cavallo/gr. The river Silvesterbach has shaped the area around Dobbiaco/Toblach very significantly: the watershed was moved from Versciaco/Vierschach to Dobbiaco/Toblach, earth pyramids were created, but also deep trenches, the expansion of which has been slowed down for some time by the torrent construction.
