The South Tyrol Strawberry Trail leads through the picturesque natural and cultural landscape of Val Martello and is walkable all year.
Start from the village centre and take path 3, walking by Gosternhof towards Ponte Gardena. From there, continue on the bike path to Colma. You will reach the Reatlhof just before the village on path 8A. Follow trail 5 from Colma to Barbiano, where you will talke path 11A and 11B for a quick detour to the Unteraichnerhof. The excursion can be carried out in both directions form Ponte Gardena.
A hike through the wetlands of Schluderns/ Sluderno, also known as Schludernser Au or Schludernser Erlenwaldbiotop.

You can choose from three different variants to discover the Malga di Tarres circular route. Variant A (easy) starts at the mountain station of the chairlift and leads through the forest and over wooden footbridges until above the Malga di Tarres mountain hut where you can sit on a Hollywood swing and enjoy the view of the valley.At numerous stations, the Strawberry Trail in Val Martello demonstrates the production process of the high quality berries, leading past fields of strawberries and the farms of growers. Val Martello is not known as the “Valley of Berries” for nothing!
According to a legend recorded by Ignaz Vinzenz Zingerle, two children once found a sword made of pure gold here. This sword was stuck in the earth, and couldn’t be completely pulled out. When they returned the next day, a man dressed in old-fashioned attire led them to the grotto behind the waterfall where there were magnificent chambers. That’s where the man revealed to them that he was waiting to be released from a curse: Only he who was able to completely draw the sword from the ground would be able to save him. The sword and the man in the old-fashioned clothing were never seen again.
Schnalswaal irrigation channel has been in use for more than 500 years and offers plenty to see: a Waalerhütte hut, a functional Waalschelle bell, chestnut woods, steppic vegetation, and, of course, Juval castle.

In the summer months of 1908-1910, Gustav Mahler composed some of his most famous works in this simple wooden hut in the heart of the Dolomites: the 9th and 10th symphonies and the "Song of the Earth".
The summer residence and the small house of musical creation are only visible from the outside.
The possibility to start the journey to Herol and the return from Schweiger Böden by our hiking bus makes this hike an ideal family excursion.

From each hamlet, the next one is visible and easily reached by connecting tracks and roads, leaving you free to choose the best route to explore the amazing beauty of these landscapes and the architectural singularity of the hamlets.

The hike along the Via Crucis leads along religious stations from Stilves villages through the shadows of the forest to Bad Moeders, an old mineral spring with an adjacent chapel. The tranquility of the forest along the trail leads to a profound contemplation.
The new theme path provides an insight into viniculture and wine history and spans an arc between agriculture and gastronomy. Different information panels describe local grape varieties, landscape and culinary specialties. The Val Venosta wine path is perfectly walkable from Easter to November and takes you along the irrigation channel paths (Latschander irrigation channel path and Senales irrigation channel path) over long distances. This hike of about 2.5 hours can be made in both directions and it is also possible to choose specific sections only.

Variant B starts at the same starting point and takes you through the forest to a small idyllic riverbed. It's as if you walked through a fairyland in an almost untouched environment. From there follow the signs across steep meadows towards Malga di TarresMölten is embedded in mountain meadows and oriented towards the sun and the mountain Tschögglberg. It is centrally located and only a short drive away from Meran and Bozen.

From the church in Lungiarü, head south-west towards Frëina/Seres along the road until you reach the bridge. There, a small path leads through the forest to Frëina. Follow the paved road on the right and, in the bend after the bridge, take the narrow path on your left (no. 4). Walk past the Vanc farmstead to the hamlet Seres. Val di Murins, the valley of the mills, opens up just before the bridge over the stream. Cross the stream and walk to the hamlet Miscì (no. 5), then continue downhill to a pretty larch wood forest, a small chapel and the nearby lime kiln. The route back leads to Lungiarü along the wood path.
