Six female voices in dialogue between jazz, sacred music, and folk music in the Lengmoos Commandery at 8.30 p.m. Entrance € 15, RittenCard € 12, student € 5. The vocal ensemble project "Daham" was initiated by Katharina Kurz and consists of six singers from North and South Tyrol, who interpret works specifically composed for the project. Musically, the program offers a multifaceted evening with influences from jazz, dialect lyrics inspired by folk music, as well as space for new ideas. The music brings to life images from nature, everyday life, and personal relationships, creating an atmosphere in which the audience can feel at home. The concert experience "Daham" takes listeners on a journey through the mountains, tells of the "seelige Tag" (blissful day), hopes for beautiful times "für ewi" (forever), and describes what "Daham" (home) can feel like. Summer on the Ritten also this year is enriched by a series of evening events called "Rittner Sunnenseitn". There are three evenings under the stars and each evening is dedicated to a different motto. Sayaka Shoji is internationally renowned for her unique artistic versatility and meticulous approach to her repertoire. In 1999, at just 16 years old, she became the youngest ever winner of the Paganini Competition. Born in Tokyo, raised in Siena, and educated in Cologne, Sayaka Shoji performs regularly across the globe. String Academy of Bolzano: Founded in 1987 by artistic director Georg Egger, the String Academy of Bolzano has a nearly 40-year history. The renowned ensemble is composed mainly of musicians from South Tyrol, all of whom bring extensive experience from leading chamber and orchestral groups in Italy and abroad.

Traditional festival & Church Day on the Rittner Horn with an open air Mass at 11 a.m. at the Gasthof Unterhornhaus, followed by festivities with brass music at all the huts on the Rittner Horn. The event only takes place in good weather!

The result is a joyful, vibrant, and daring blend of music and narrative. The program includes works by old masters, jazz, swing, blues, and a few surprises. The Brass’n Sax ensemble is made up mainly of musicians from the Joe Smith Band, led by Peppi Haller, also known as Joe Smith. Chris Haller enchants on saxophone, Walter Plank shines on trumpet, Peppi Haller sings on trombone, and Toni Pichler grooves on tuba. At 1 p.m. special ride with the historic narrow-gauge railway from the train station Oberbozen to Maria Himmelfahrt and back. Accompanied by the train experts who tell interesting facts about the history of the Ritten Railway, followed by a short guided tour of the Remise in Oberbozen. Price: € 10, € 5 kids (6-14 years). Special ride only with reservation at the Tourist Office Ritten/Renon. Limited number of participants.

Patronal festivity at the fairground in Oberbozen. Every year on August 15, the Oberbozen music band organizes this traditional and widely known event. The day begins with a Mass at 8.30 a.m. followed by a procession and blessing of herbs at Maria Himmelfahrt. Brunch starts at 11 a.m. at the festivity ground with music by the band. In the afternoon, at 2 p.m., the band invites you to the themed parade. Different music bands of South Tyrol accompany the parade, as well as Rittner alphorn musicians, folk dance group, “Goaßlschnöllern”, horse riders. In the evening live music and dancing
