When mountain farmer Nikolaus Lantschner began marketing his free-range eggs in the 1990s, it was no easy task. Initially, it was a matter of convincing people of this new concept of farming and the higher price associated with it. But the Eggerhof farmer's belief in species-appropriate animal husbandry and uncompromising quality soon paid off.

Today, the Eggerhof with its free-range chickens at 1,200 metres on the sunny Reggelberg is an indispensable supplier of free-range eggs with the South Tyrolean quality label.
‘The flavour and quality are of course something completely different. This convinced many people and soon led to an increase in demand,’ says Nikolaus Lantschner.

The organic farm Stöckler Hof is located in Lana, right on the Brandis Waalweg. There is also a small farm shop where homemade products such as red wine vinegar, Weirouge apple chips, jams, fresh eggs, and the organic white wine "Genuin" are offered. Depending on the season and availability, seasonal fruits are available. Llama felt products made from our own llama wool are also part of the assortment.

You can buy our products directly from the farm – with flexible self-service. For those who prefer to pay in cash, receive personal advice, or simply enjoy a friendly chat: we’re here every Friday from 3 to 6 pm or by appointment over the phone! Vettererhof is located in Lana. Today, various apple varieties grow in the orchards of the farm. For the past 10 years, old apple varieties and stone fruit have also been cultivated on a dedicated field following the principles of permaculture. Recently, the old wine cellar was reactivated, and every year, the Piwi grape variety Souvignier Gris, grown in the house vineyard, is stored there.

In the farm shop, you can purchase the farm’s own wines.

Arriving at the end of the Pfossental Valley you get to farmstead Vorderkaser (1,693 m a.s.l). The farm, situated in the Texel Group Nature Park, consists of several buildings that were originally built in the 13th century. Today the family of Richard Kofler welcomes guests in the tavern Jägerrast offering typical South Tyrolean dishes as well as quality meat and self-made products of the alpine cheese dairy.

From the plant to the jar - 100% handmade
Each of the products from Ausser Brugghof in Katharinaberg is truly unique, the result of pure craftsmanship and genuine passion. On the farm, young farmer Patrick and his girlfriend Jana personally look after every single plant - from the first seedling to the care and harvest. They do not use large machines and instead rely on careful manual labour. Processing is also carried out in small batches in order to maintain freshness and quality at the highest level. The berries are carefully selected: Only the best fruit makes it into the jars. With a fruit content of 70%, the fruit spreads have an intense flavour. To preserve the bright colour and full flavour, they always process the fruit as fresh as possible. The ingredients for the syrups also come directly from nature and the farm: elderflowers are collected in the wild, dandelion flowers are picked from the natural meadows and basil and mint leaves grow in the farm's own garden. The result: unique specialities with a genuine taste - homemade, natural and full of passion. Visit the Ausser Brugghof and let yourself be spoilt by the lovingly produced delicacies! The alpine dairy of Lagundo offer a rich assortment of local products like cheese, milk, fresh cream, butter and cottage cheese.

In our Hochzirm farm delicatessen we turn fine ingredients into delicacies – we put our heart and soul into every single slice of bacon. Delicious food conjured up with passion … in our farm shop we sell smoked sausages, salami and bacon from our own animals. Our delicacies also make a lovely gift for your favourite people! 

The farm shop Stettnerhof is located in Völlan/Lana. In addition to seasonal products such as fresh apples and grapes, homemade specialties are offered all year round, including herb salt, wine, vinegar, and apple chips – all, of course, produced directly at Stettnerhof.

Upon request, you can also find small "gift boxes" and gift baskets in the farm shop, perfect for special occasions or as a souvenir for your loved ones at home.
