The Sandgruberhof is located in the pedestrian zone leading to Tyrol Castle, around 10 minutes on foot from the center of the village. The historic structure of the Sandgruberhof has been fundamentally preserved to the present day. It is easy to forget time and space in the centuries-old vaulted cellar, in the garden with its spectacular views and whilst enjoying the lovingly prepared dishes and delicacies.

The Kuhleiten hut is open during the whole summer and winter season and easily reachable for everyone on a comfortable hike from the upper ropeway station and the circulating cableway.

The Naserhof snack bar is set in a beautiful mountain landscape, surrounded by hiking trails with views of the Passeiertal Valley and the Hirzer hiking area, above the Merano High Mountain Trail. Gaze in awe as each of our Japanese dishes is prepared freshly, right in front of you, at the Tappanyaki table. It’s like taking in a show and enjoying great cuisine in one! South Tyrol’s first Teppanyaki restaurant was opened by none other than Toshio Kobatake, Teppanyaki chef at ‘Toshi’ in Munich. The “Schlemmer Atlas”, a restaurant guide for the German-speaking region, named his restaurant the “Ethnic restaurant of the year”. The two men took our sous chef, Roman, under their wing for an entire year – he couldn’t have had better training, even in Japan – and schooled him in the art of genuine Teppanyaki cuisine. Now, Roman serves our guests at the Teppanyaki grill in the Sky restaurant at the Quellenhof in South Tyrol.

The Hochforch mountain hut is located directly on the Meraner Höhenweg and can be reached from the Unterstell cable car in about 2-2.5 hours. On our cosy sun terrace, guests can enjoy a wonderful panorama as well as homemade delicacies such as apple strudel, cake and snacks. On colder days, our cosy Zirmstube invites you to linger.
