The traditional hotel "Locher" is nestled in a very quiet and sunny area, in the South-west of the fabolous tableland of Salto. The idyllic position of the hotel makes it the perfect place where to stay for your holidays or the ideal destination for your excursions in any season.

For our guests we have a big dining room as well as several other smaller rooms and an original Tyrolean “Stube“ where to enjoy traditional South Tyrolean dishes and refined venison dishes. A rich assortment of wines completes our menu and refines each plate. Our inn also disposes of a sunny terrace where you have the possibility to taste delicious homemade desserts and typical "breadbord-snacks". Enjoy the South Tyrolean golden autumn: when the leafs turn multicoloured it's time for "Törggelen", roasted chestnuts and the "new wine". We're looking forward to meet you!

Guesthouse Noafer has been in the family for three generations, but has been a place to drop by to refresh for much longer.In times gone by all kinds of people who were on the go such as craftsmen going from place to place, inhabitants of Bozen seeking nature, or even farmers who had sold their ware in the valley, stopped by at Noafer to enjoy a nice glass of wine or some "Speck" (bacon speciality) whilst enjoying a friendly chat with the locals in the Stube (rustic wooden room). Nowadays it's families, trekkers, businesspeople enjoying their lunches and many more, but they all come for the same thing. Enjoying nature whilst enjoying some homemade apple strudel, or having fun at a game of cards in the enticing Stube (rustic wooden room) in winter.

We invite you to enjoy the peace and quietness, the fresh air, the wonderful view at the landscape and the familiar atmosphere. The chef is preparing both traditional Tyrolean dishes. In November dinner only on reservation.

Relaxing and enjoyable hours await you in our traditional Gasthof am Tschögglberg. Surrounded by a beautiful hiking area we got down the sense of good and beautiful in the cradle. The aromatic blend of spicy South Tyrolean cuisine and light Mediterranean cuisine is framed by warm hospitality and homely rooms. The restaurant Tomanegger is sitauted directly near to the hiking bus stop. Its grand terrace offers a magnificent view of Catinaccio (Rosengarten) and Dolomites. The menu is versatile and includes both Italian and South Tyrolean specialities. The restaurant is closed on Wednesday.

The Salten upland with its wide pastures and meadows, dark coniferous forests and southern vegetation gives this middle-mountain landscape an extraordinary charm. In the winter on Saturday and Sunday it open all day.

In our winery in the heart of Laives, where regional and national traditions melt into each other, everyone can enjoy a good glass of wine. In the comfortable cellar in rustic style we serve different wines and schnapps with small appetizers. A special feature of our vinery are the steel tanks, filled with wine. Our guests can taste the different types of wine and if you want to buy some, the wine will get filled in in designated bottles. On request we make also wine tastings with our sommelier. Our tavern Schwabhof is located near the hiking path "Altavia di Laives/Leiferer Höhenweg“. From Laives you can reach the tavern in about one hour and a half by foot or in 20 minutes by car. We offer a variety of South Tyrolean dishes and - ONLY ON RESERVATION - grill specialities and more. The Mahlknecht family is looking forward to welcoming you!

Restaurant Pizzeria at the village center of San Genesio/Jenesien.

At Zunerhof we daily serve excellent dumplings, “Spätzle” but also Schlutzkrapfen (ravioli with spinach filling) Herrengröstel (meat dish with roasted potatoes), roasted pork knuckle (upon request) and much much more. In addition to that we also offer a fine selection of South Tyrolean wines as well as home-made juices. Wonderful specialities which will be served in one of our beautiful Stuben of the 16th century, or, as soon as the weather allows it, on our sunny terrace. We offer a familiar, cozy environment and pamper you with crispy pizza from the wood oven and other Tyrolean specialties. We are ideally located: Bolzano can be reached in 10 minutes and the historic cities of Chiusa, Bressanone and Merano are nearby. City travelers are therefore in the perfect location to explore South Tyrol’s small towns and their traditions. The Steg is also perfectly located for active vacationers: cycling (bike path leads directly past the house), hiking, golfing and skiing – everything your heart desires.
