DELICIOUS FOOD - Mor sense for culinary pleasure, that is our philosophy. Refined dishes seasoned with subtletly and arranged artistically. Only a dozen dishes on the menu, but a new selection every few weeks. Best quality ingredients, preferably regional or from the region the dish originates. The hut Kieneralm is located at 1,750 m at the foot of the mountain Gitschberg. In winter direct connection to the skiing area Gitschberg Jochtal. You can reach the Kiener Alm in about 1,5 hours from the parking lot Gitschberg.

Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner of regional products in our cozy stube with the gentle crackling of the open fire or on our sunny terrace overlooking the Sexten Sundial in the midst of the Dolomites. We are also happy to welcome you in the afternoon for a small snack, delicious cake or a cool aperitif.

Here the alpinist can expect something very tasty, but also something light and refreshing. Culinary delights are part of a mountain experience. The comfy get-together, animated conversations about adventures, paths and destinations, perhaps also stories about mountains, animals and people, of myth and reality .

The Bergl Hut is located at an altitude of 2,188 m below the Pleisshorngrat of the Ortler, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. It is accessible in about 1.5 hours from the Holy Three Fountains in Trafoi via trail No. 18. The Bergl Hut is situated directly across from the second-highest mountain pass road in the Alps, the Stelvio Pass, and offers an impressive view of the surrounding peaks, the stunning alpine landscape, and the Stelvio Pass road with its 48 hairpin turns. The hut delights its guests with a selection of regional specialties. Here, hikers can enjoy hearty dishes such as dumplings, speck platters, and pasta dishes made with local ingredients. Sweet temptations like apple strudel or Kaiserschmarrn are also a must. The Bergl Hut is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and mountain tours, such as to the Payer Hut or further on to the Ortler, the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps.

The bar is located in the heart of the sports facilities and offers a wonderful view of the climbing hall or the outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy aromatic coffee on the sun terrace or delicious, fresh drinks in the cool bar.

We attach great importance to regional ingredients - milk and meat come from local farms. Landlord Rainer prepares all dishes fresh. We offer diet cuisine (also gluten-free) and light meals on request. The meals are served in one of our cosy rooms. Rainer cooks for our house guests.
