At the cheese dairy farm Ebenhof, the South Tyrolean cheese tradition is cultivated with passion. Since 2007, delicious raw milk cheeses have been made from the fresh grass-fed milk of the local Alpine cows. Farmer and cheesemaker Markus relies on natural ingredients and craftsmanship to create unique cheeses such as the mildly flavoured "Sternkasl", the aromatic Mountain Cheese and the versatile Farmer Cheese.

Production takes place directly on the farm - from milking the cows to maturing the cheese in the cellar. Sustainability and animal welfare play a central role here. 

You can buy the eight different types of cheese at the farmers' markets in Welschnofen|Nova Levante and Bozen|Bolzano and at the grocer's shop Despar Masoner in Steinegg|Collepietra. Farm-gate sales are only possible by prior appointment by telephone.

The Plattner farm house in Costalovara is more than 600 years old. The Gramm Family, a mercantile family from Bolzano, has carried out an exemplary restoration of it liaising closely with the provincial historic preservation agency and so, also because of its unique location, it is one of the most picturesque farmsteads in the region. Today it accommodates a bee-keeping museum that illustrates in a lively and vivid way the sweet art of making honey. The magnificent Plattnerhof is the largest private collection of South Tyrol’s beekeeping and it is also a monument of rural architecture and savoir vivre. A nature trail on the picturesque hill near to the house explains the world of bees to visitors.

For us bakers it is vital to ensure that traditional recipes and bread varieties are preserved and handed down. We make typical South Tyrolean bread and sweet baked goods, using ancient recipes with a modern twist, as well as creating our own new products. All these items are made fresh every day, using natural sourdough and local ingredients, and with a guarantee of a hundred percent quality.

The "Dorflodn" at the Camping Passeier in Saltaus/Saltusio, has all you need for your gourmet requirements. Some of our products are locally produced while others are from regional South Tyrolean producers. Fresh bread comes from the local bakery, and our milk is fresh from the South Tyrolean dairy cooperatives. Traditional speck bacon, cheeses as well as fresh fruit and vegetables are all sourced from local suppliers. We also stock various regional wines and beers.

I In the village center of Moos in Passeier you find the butcher Hofer, which is known for high quality of bacon, meat and sausages. The Hofer family has been practicing the butcher's trade with passion, precision and craftsmanship for over 55 years. The butcher is leaded by the second generation, from the brothers Kurt and Kilian Hofer, who took it from their parents Franz Hofer and Maria Girtler. Of particular importance for the Hofer family is the quality of their products. The processing process begins directly in our own slaughterhouse. Where the staff process the meat of fawns, lambs, cattle, calves, sheep and pigs with great care. Then it will process professionally in the sausage production and in the bacon production. The processing is still based on old tradition and natural recipes, but it has been refined by sophisticated production methods. Our own butcher's shop with specialist meats and sausages, and other fine delicacies from South Tyrol

The farm of a passionate sheep farmer and cheese producer from Stein is located in the rear Pflerschtal valley, at the foot of the imposing mountain Tribulaun. High-quality products made from sheep's milk are produced here with great care and traditional craftsmanship - including the finest fresh and hard cheeses and creamy sheep's yoghurt made from fresh sheep's milk.
These natural delicacies are available every Friday from mid-April to the end of October at the farmers' market in Sterzing - directly from the producer, with an authentic mountain flavour.

The Mount Becher Genusshaus comprises 4 production facilities: the brewery, distillery, roastery and cheese dairy. Numerous regional products are produced there with passion. At the historic Ansitz Mairhof we use our own sun-ripened fruit to make delicious, natural, home grown produce. Apple juice, a variety of jams, fruit and leaf syrups, homemade chutneys and more are available to taste and buy from the historic listed farm belonging to the Bernhart family. The natural ingredients of beneficial tea blends flourish in the herb garden. And local grape varieties are grown in the family estate’s vineyards, which are transformed with loving care and attention into exquisite Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Lagrein rosé, Vernatsch, Pinot Noir e Zweigelt wines. Sophisticated wines to delight the heart and taste buds, which on request you are welcome to try out in the historic cellar.

In our small farm shop you can taste and purchase all the variety of our cheeses: young,
semi-aged or aged; made with raw or thermised milk; with a pure taste or flavored with herbs,
flowers or pine. It is also possible to buy yogurt, ricotta, fresh milk and spreadable cheese
(robiola), as well as our homemade desserts.

Our cheese dairy is located above the village of St. Martin/S. Martino, at an elevation of 1,000 metres.

The goats and cows that produce the milk are fed with organically grown fodder, and processed into aromatic fresh cheeses. Our products are available from our farm store or sales outlets, including the Algund/Lagundo Dairy and “Spezialitäten Pamer” in St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo. Farm tours with cheese tastings can be arranged on request.
