Appiano is proud of its rich apple tradition and invites visitors to learn more about this popular fruit growing. During the apple tours you will have the opportunity to dive directly into the apple orchards and learn from Doris everything about the cultivation, care and harvesting of apples. You will be amazed at how much knowledge and care is behind each apple.

Amidst vineyards overlooking Lake Kaltern, the Sinn family is producing organic wines since 2013. The wines are vinified in wooden and steel barrels as well as in clay amphorae. The guided tours start with a short tour of the vineyard and an explanation of the work throughout the year, follows a visit to the new wine cellar and a tasting of the wines with a snack. In a matter of fact South Tyrol enjoys of a very good reputation as far as the production of quality products is concerned. Thanks to the accurate cultivation methods and the strict hygenic regulations there is no doubt that these goods are of the highest quality and of the best taste.
