Hotel description
Welcome to our new holiday apartments in Siusi allo Sciliar/Seis am Schlern with a wonderful panoramic view of the mountain landscape of UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Dolomites. Our new, family-friendly holiday apartments are situated 1000 m above sea level in the beautiful Siusi allo Scilar holiday resort directly at the foot of the Sciliar/Schlern and are thus an ideal starting point for unforgettable hikes on the largest mountain plateau in Europe, the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm. The Siusi allo Sciliar/Seis am Schlern village centre is 3 minutes’ walking distance away. The orbit on the Alpe di Siusi is only 5 minutes’ walk away from House Bernard as well. The Alpe di Siusi holiday region is just as fascinating in summer as in winter and offers variety and a wealth of experience. Hiking, biking, horse riding, climbing, swimming in the idyllic Fiè Pond/Völser Weiher, Golfing, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoe hiking, tobogganing, ice skating, horse-drawn carriage trips and many other offers leave nothing to be desired.

About the region

Welcome to a landscape of superlatives. A holiday in the Seiser Alm region, featuring the largest high-Alpine pasture in Europe, is a true highlight of any trip to South Tyrol/Südtirol. Enjoy breathtaking views of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, as well as numerous opportunities for adventure.

Thecable car makes exploring the region simple, allowing visitors to easily access the Seiser Alm plateau from Seis/Siusi. With its wide open spaces, Europe’s largest high-Alpine pasture features 365 Alpine farms and huts, and is a paradise for hikers, families with children and holidaymakers looking for action in winter or summertime. Fantastic views of Dolomite peaks abound including Sassolungo, Sassopiatto, Schlern and Rosengarten. Myriad legends, like those concerning King Laurin, are woven into the impressive landscape. On the high plateau and in the communities of Kastelruth/Castelrotto, Seis, Völs/Fiè and Tiers/Tires, experience and feel the farming traditions and the pride of the local people. In fact, even today in the Seiser Alm holiday region there are twice as many farmers as innkeepers. One of the region’s outstanding benefits is its proximity to both the capital city of Bolzano/Bozen, and Brixen/Bressanone. Each are just half an hour’s drive away. The Seiser Alm region offers numerous worthwhile sporting and cultural events year round.
