The Texel Residence offers you 6 independent and well-furnished apartments for your relax. A barbecue evening on the terrace is a unique experience to spend a lazy summer evening. In the winter you can relax in our sauna after a day of intense skiing. The nearby health resort of Meran with its cultural events and highlights through the year is the perfect place to go shopping or for a walk. Plenty of historical monuments and relaxing activities to be discovered and experienced.

About the region

Meran and environs region is full of surprising contrasts. In spring, you can ski in the morning on the Schnalstal glacier and cycle through apple orchards in the afternoon. While the peaks are still white, you can sit in the sun among palm trees and arcades along the Passer river. The mild climate, protected by the Texel group, fosters diverse and lush nature. The gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle showcase the elegance of yesteryear, alongside the thermal baths and Belle Époque buildings. The valleys around Meran are full of paths, waterfalls and traditions, just waiting to be discovered. And if you love horses, a ride on a Haflinger is the way to go.
