Vacation - luck
The sun terrace and the sunbathing lawn, the sauna and the indoor swimming pool,
the outdoor swimming pool, the rooms with all modern conveniences and splendid
views of the surrounding fields and meadows, the bar and all the cosy places
and corners - islands where you really feel at ease, furnished with style and sense of beauty.
Cosy comfort, warm colours, hospitality in every moment of your stay....
For people who love life....
And as we are just talking about life:
the Matillhof likes children - and vice versa.
The cuisine is as tempting as the country around it, as varied and interesting as holidays
in Latsch and full of joy of living.
You only have to choose between nearly forgotten traditional specialities of the South
Tyrolean cuisine, wholefood dishes, vegetarian meals or delicacies of the international cuisine.
Enjoy all the delicious creations that we present you at the candle-light dinners
or during typical Tyrolean evenings
Time & space....
Time for yourself, space for having a good time:
The new sauna and pool area invites you to relax: indoor swimming pool with counter current system,
whirlpool, herb steam bath, stone oven sauna, diving pool, steam shower, solarium, relaxation area,
fitness studio, massages.... A warm atmosphere, a lot of light, a symphony of colours.
In front of the door - as impressive and varied as our hospitality- you’ll find the lawn with deck chairs,
the sunbathing terrace, the outdoor swimming pool which we like calling fun pool.
And, of course, a lot of time and space: Holiday luck!
About the region
The waters of the Reschensee lake guard the secrets of a famous sunken church. A view out across the lake towards its lonely church tower, surrounded by snowkiters or sailboats, exemplifies the blending of culture and possibilities for activity on holidays in Vinschgau. Discover for yourself the varied landscapes bathed in light as well as the creativity and peculiarity of the people of Vinschgau during a ride on the Vinschgau Train. View numerous castles and forts in the wide and sun-spoiled valley, dubbed the patchwork quilt of South Tyrol. As you travel further along, the Ortler peak appears larger than life. Hop out and enjoy the bounty that surrounds you, from Vinschgau apricots to specialties like Paarl bread. Stroll along the Waalwege paths or bike to Glorenza/Glurns, the smallest city in Italy, where you can head back in time to the middle ages.
