4 HOLIDAY APARTMENTS - 5 ARTISTS Do you fancy a holiday at the foot of the largest high Alpine pasture in Europe? Are you longing for a combination of Alpine playfulness and Mediterranean flair, savouring dumplings one day and spaghetti the next, with the wind caressing your back whilst your eyes feast on the vast panorama of the Dolomites before you? Do you like indulging in the company of folk both young and old, or prefer to clear your head in solitude and to enjoy the great outdoors by yourself? Alpe di Susi invites you to stay in holiday apartments that were deliberately designed, as it were, the wrong way round, when five talented artists were commissioned to create works of art. Kitchen fittings and furniture were made to measure by a South Tyrol cabinet maker. The colour schemes and the lighting were inspired by the works of art and complement each other perfectly.

About the region

Welcome to a landscape of superlatives. A holiday in the Seiser Alm region, featuring the largest high-Alpine pasture in Europe, is a true highlight of any trip to South Tyrol/Südtirol. Enjoy breathtaking views of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, as well as numerous opportunities for adventure.


Thecable car makes exploring the region simple, allowing visitors to easily access the Seiser Alm plateau from Seis/Siusi. With its wide open spaces, Europe’s largest high-Alpine pasture features 365 Alpine farms and huts, and is a paradise for hikers, families with children and holidaymakers looking for action in winter or summertime. Fantastic views of Dolomite peaks abound including Sassolungo, Sassopiatto, Schlern and Rosengarten. Myriad legends, like those concerning King Laurin, are woven into the impressive landscape. On the high plateau and in the communities of Kastelruth/Castelrotto, Seis, Völs/Fiè and Tiers/Tires, experience and feel the farming traditions and the pride of the local people. In fact, even today in the Seiser Alm holiday region there are twice as many farmers as innkeepers. One of the region’s outstanding benefits is its proximity to both the capital city of Bolzano/Bozen, and Brixen/Bressanone. Each are just half an hour’s drive away. The Seiser Alm region offers numerous worthwhile sporting and cultural events year round.
