This easy loop-route runs on the flat with practically no ascent. From Ritsch, the tracks lead over the Große Moos heading north and then onwards and slightly downhill in long curves. On the next slope, the Möser tracks bear slightly uphill over rolling Alpine meadows, with breathtaking panoramic views over the Langkofel and Plattkofel accompanying you along the route. The trail then leads over easy, undulating terrain back to the set-off point in Ritsch.
The ski hiking trail from Schluderbach/Carbonin to Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza is only suitable for experienced and persevering cross-country skiers, as there are about 550 meters of altitude to be overcome.
The ski hiking trail is not only used by cross-country skiers, but also by winter hikers and ski mountaineerers.
Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza is a high plateao at 2.000m where is a magnificent panoramic cross country trail with the view over beautiful Dolomite peaks.

This easy loop-route leads out from the Cross-Country Centre in Ritsch and heads north over the vast Alpine meadows. With the Langkofel and the Plattkofel, this stretch of the trail boasts an incredible panorama. A short but hard ascent takes you to the Wolfbühl, the highest point of the route. Then continue onwards through a stretch of wood and over easy, undulating terrain back to the beginning of the trail.
The Panorama cross-country trail is classed as one of the most challenging loop-routes on the Seiser Alm and, with the Langkofel, Plattkofel and the Schlern, boasts a landscape which is second to none. The trail starts at the Cross-Country Centre in Ritsch and leads up to the mountain station of the Panorama chairlift with numerous sweeping curves through the Palude di Ladinser Moos. When you get to the Laurinhütte hut, loop round and head back to the start of the trail.
Easy cross-country trail from Deutschnofen to Kesselmoss, with a sunny view at the Dolomites.
Sunny cross-country trail along the Drava until Winnebach/Prato alla Drava, flat trail, ideal for beginners. You can continue to Lienz (44 km) and return to San Candido by train; open only if there is enough snow!
The cross-country skiing trail in Schmelz, starting at the Hotel Waldheim at 1520m, is a forest hiking trail. Here it is allowed to hike on the cross-country trail, to go sledding and dogs are also allowed, but must be kept on a leash.

Cross-country skiers will get their money’s worth on the perfectly groomed trails in the Ultental valley. The route offers an environment sure to please cross-country ski enthusiasts. It passes by woods set deep in snow, the frozen Falschauer river, as well as centuries old farmhouses. With gentle inclines and descents, the conditions are perfect even for beginners. The trail is very diverse and offering the possibility to skate or do classic cross-country skiing.

From one end of the village, this 23 km track winds down into the Marebbe valley through the quiet forests and snow-covered mountain pastures of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park, where the fresh air seems to glisten and the soothing tranquillity of the winter dominates the Dolomites. On many different routes (rings), cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find ideal skiing conditions as well as breath-taking surroundings and inviting mountain inns offering mouth-watering delicacies. Group lessons and individual lessons are available at the San Vigilio ski schools.
At the very heart of San Vigilio di Marebbe, close to the Aqua Bad Cortina Oasis Hotel, a beautiful cross-country slope sets off along the romantic Mareo valley all the way to the Pederü mountain inn. One glimpse of the picture-book winter landscapes and you won‘t be able to stop yourself from grabbing your skis and setting off into the White fields and forests, to relax far from the daily hustle and bustle. The slope is suitable for both classic cross-country skiing and skating. For all winter sports enthusiasts who wish to learn or improve their cross-country skiing, there are two ski schools in San Vigilio which offer both group lessons and individual lessons (p. 20). And of course you don‘t have to ski the whole 23 km of the slope: The track is arranged in a number of routes (rings) which allow you to return to San Vigilio at any time. Alternatively, you can catch a Mareobus and Citybus service to Pederü or to the football grounds (Skibus stop) and start skiing at different points of the slope. The Ridnauntal/Val Ridanna Circular Trail starts in Maiern/Masseria. It goes along the Fernerbach stream down the valley to the hamlet of Braunhöfen, where it goes round in a loop. This is followed by a climb up to Gasse and the Joggelehof farm, where you do a loop and then start on your way back. First you follow the same route back to Ridnaun/Ridanna; then you follow the trail in a number of loops of varying degrees of difficulty back up the valley to Maiern/Masseria.
