Setting out from Ritsch, this varied loop-route leads north over the Große Moos and through vast Alpine meadows towards the cable car for Ortisei/St. Ulrich, with the nearby Dolomite peaks of the Langkofel and the Plattkofel ever in sight. After a short uphill stretch, we head downwards through a stretch of woodland and over Alpine meadows with traditional Alpine dairy farms. In Hartl, you come to a curve in the trail and ski on, slightly uphill, along the slope through the vast Alpine meadows. There is a steep uphill stretch just before the trail meets the Möser trail, followed by easy, undulating terrain back to the set-off point in Ritsch.

The "Erl" cross-country ski trail offers a beautiful 2.5 km of skiing in the snow-sure Pflerschtal valley. The 70-meter elevation difference provides optimal conditions, especially for experienced skiers and demanding skaters. The trail is perfect for both classic and skating styles and is located in a stunning alpine setting at the foot of the mountain Weißwandspitze and the Tribulaun.
There is no possibility to rent equipment on-site.
If you need anything, you have the option to rent equipment at the sports shop "Sport Wurzer by m2Bike" in Gossensass.

The Waldheim - Moos circular trail is the perfect route for all beginners. Not only do you have a beautiful view of the Sexten Sundial, but also of the Helm Mountain.


This trail is open and lighted on Mondays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Cross Country and Biathlon Center Südtirol Arena Alto Adige is situated directly on the Lake of Antholz. During the winter time you can do cross Country and Biathlon like an athlete. Every year, the Biathlon World Cup takes place in this amazing environment of the Rieserferner mountains. During the summer season you can participate at a guided tour in the building or shoot at the shot disc and run and enjoy the beautiful nature.

The cross-country skiing trail in the Langtauferer Valley runs alongside the Karlin river and offers a breathtaking backdrop of snow-capped mountains and forests. The trail is ideal for skiers of all levels and offers a route of approximately 4,5 km. The trail is well-marked and prepared, and offers gentle terrain with some light inclines and descents. Skiers can enjoy the beauty of nature and breathe in the fresh mountain air while exploring the trail

The high-altitude cross-country trail in Langtaufers offers a unique skiing experience amidst an idyllic winter landscape. The circular route starts in Perwarg and follows the edge of the forest to the charming Melager Alm. Along the way, skiers can enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-covered peaks of the Ötztal Alps and the untouched nature of the Langtaufers Valley.

After a short break at the Melager Alm – perfect for savoring local delicacies – the trail continues to Melag. The route is suitable for both classic skiing and skating techniques, and thanks to its altitude, it guarantees excellent snow conditions

The “Rundloipe Lärchenwiese” circuit is a challenging 1.5 km course. The trail is located in the middle of our larch forests in the Fiscalina Valley with a view of the Sexten Sundial.

The cross-country skiiing trail offers you a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the winter mountain landscape in the northern part of South Tyrol. You can access the trail either from Giggelberg/Moncucco near Gossensass or from the little hamlet Ast in the Pflerschtal Valley. The trail follows the popular bicycle trail of Brenner with a steady incline and is ideal for skating, classic cross-country skiing, as well as a winter hiking path. With a length of 4 km and an elevation gain of 70 meters, the route is suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes. The trail is free to use, but there is no equipment rental available on-site and no possibiliy to stop for refreshments.

Cross-country trail from the sport centre, 1360 m to the Hotel Pfösl, 1383 m.

This is a very quiet trail amidst untouched nature!               

Easy and sunny cross-country ski trail from Oberrasen to Antholz Niedertal. The artificial snow trail runs along the river next to the groomed winter hiking trail. Entry points are at the culture house in Oberrasen, at the Hotel Bad Salomonsbrunn and in the village center of Antholz Niedertal.

This easy loop-route leads out from the Cross-Country Centre in Ritsch and heads north over the vast Alpine meadows. With the Langkofel and the Plattkofel, this stretch of the trail boasts an incredible panorama. A short but hard ascent takes you to the Wolfbühl, the highest point of the route. Then continue onwards through a stretch of wood and over easy, undulating terrain back to the beginning of the trail.

The starting point of this pleasant cross-country ski trail is Hotel Waldheim. The chapel of Santa Maria alla Fonderia built in 1711 is situated along the trail and is definitely worth a stop.  Of course you can also walk to the chapel.

Cross Country Skiing from Tulper-Gampis to the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alm

At the foot of the majestic Sas dla Crusc in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park we find the Armentara meadows. With breathtaking views of rare beauty and wide expanses of white snow as far as the eye can see, winter here warms hearts.

Three different cross-country skiing trails have been created in these immense meadows and can be reached within a few minutes' drive. At the hamlet of La Cialciara above Furnacia, just outside the village of La Val, there is a large car park from where, with a walk of about 20 minutes, you can reach the start of the slopes.

The access to the cross country ski trail begins at the "Säge/Segheria" bus stop and continues with a circle to the sport field and to Untergasse. From the crossing point you can choose the connection to Niederdorf/Villabassa, Toblach/Dobbiaco, Innichen/San Candido and on to Sexten/Sesto on the right, or the connection to Welsberg/Monguelfo on the left.

This easy to moderate circular trail starts in die Sportsarea Grube and goes through the Pfitschtal Alpine valley at the foot of the Zillertal Alps in two loops, and is a real insiders' tip due to its idyllic location and guaranteed snow. The trail is perfect for both classic and skating-style cross-country skiing and is prepared daily.

The Passo Lavazè (1800 m) is home to a number of trails leading through forests, across snowy plains and into the Fiemme Valley.

The Val Scura track, with its 7,5 km length and 270 m of altitude, is ideal for demanding cross-country skiers. Its long ascents and breathtaking descents are very much appreciated by passionate cross-country skiers.

A fantastic experience of nature through the winter-wood at the south side of the Lake of Dobbiaco. This short variant is needed to connect the east bank with the west bank.

You can find the entrance to the cross country ski trail on the right side of the Tuscherhof inn. You keep going straight ahead until you come to the connection to the Schmieden/Ferrara circuit. As soon as you have done half of this circular route, the briefly but slighlty rising trail leads you to the Mösslhof inn.
