During the main holidays (Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter, Ferragosto) and for special occasions like Valentine's day, our restaurant is open also on Sundays. Dress code: Smart casual (no shorts or sandals permitted) For lunch, the AlpenBISTRO is open on our panoramic terrace (in summer) and at the bar (in winter).

At Steinrösl, we appreciate traditional Ladin cuisine, but we love to reinterpret it, experiment, and surprise. We believe that we are what we eat, which is why we are always searching for fresh, healthy products and high-quality ingredients.

The Luggin family has set up an interesting farm inn at St. Nikolaus near Kaltern, a local place of pilgrimage. You can reach the rustic cellar via the farm shop with its numerous farm products and enjoy South Tyrolean farm dishes with a glass of wine, fruit juice or spirits from the farm's own organic distillery. Open from mid-March to start of December from Wednesday to Saturday after 5.00 p.m. Booking recommended.

Timeless elegance, local furnishings, cosiness in front of our fireplace and good music make yourself at home. Select from a wide range of wines from our list. Every day we select about 30 different wines to be tasted and savoured by the glass. We keep our menu intentionally small, so we can guaranty always the freshness of our products and at the same time we can surprise you at every visit with new dishes. We emphasize sustainable breeding and production, this why we try to use mostly local, regional and seasonal ingredients. During summer most of the vegetables come from our own garden, during wintertime we rely on our merchants. We got also best quality meat from our butchers, that keep an eye on animal fond breeding and slaughtering.

The castle also features B&B rooms, ideal for a relaxing stay, and is a popular venue for events, complete with dedicated catering services.

Our Bistrot Flower, is the novelty of the year, also open for external guests. We will welcome you from 15:00 to 24:00 in an informal and youthful atmosphere that will offer you cold and warm snacks throughout the opening hours. From 18:00 to 21:00 we will delight you with traditional dishes, cooked with local and genuine products. Our bar offers aperitifs, a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits, cheering your evenings with our game room.

CEO is a winery in South Tyrol’s Unterland – situated in the extreme south of South Tyrol. The loamy soils – conveyed here over the centuries by periodic flooding of the Etsch / Adige River until it was regulated – form the foundation for the cultivation of grapes yielding very refined, elegant white wines, but also full-bodied, heady red wines. By rigorously regulating the yield, we support natural processes in harmony with nature so as to grow grapes suitable for the production of great wines. We cultivate five different varieties of grape in our own vineyards located in the Unterland of South Tyrol.
