Elena Walch’s vinotheque is a special centre of attraction for all lovers of fine wines. Here you can taste our wines and take a few of them home with you if you wish. We present our whole palette in a comfortable atmosphere and answer your questions about the cultivation and vinification of the individual wines. New opening 2010! In the estate´s garden in Tramin village "Le verre capricieux" - where nature, architecture and sumptuous tastes meet!

All products from the monastery’s own estates are available for tasting in the monastery cellar, including the Novacella wines, brandies, apple juice, elderflower cordial and the Novacella herbal infusions. We also offer typical Tyrolean snacks of speck (cured ham), smoked sausages (Kaminwurzen) and various cheeses with a choice of tasty South Tyrolean bread varieties. Coffee and various cakes and pastries are also available, such as apple strudel, buckwheat gateau and fruit flan.

In our wine-shop, the "Wein- & Sektlaube KÖSSLER" at the Piazza San Paolo you can taste and buy all wines. Speck, cheese and south tyrolean bread - a typical in-between meal of the area Oltradige - accompagny when possible, the visit in our house.

An evening at the Tolder Cocktail Bar – cool drinks, hot music, and a relaxed atmosphere! Open in the evenings, the bar offers a wide selection of cocktails and small dishes. Located in the village centre, it’s easily accessible on foot, by bike, or by public transport. On the terrace, you can enjoy your cocktail in a cosy, laid-back setting.

The award-winning cuisine is the very heart of the hotel; cosmopolitan in spirit, it is based on the finest of regional ingredients and redefines the borders of culinary excellence. The creations conjured up by head chef Tomek Kinder and his team are served in the Defregger Stube fine-dining restaurant and the Courthouse Stube dining room, where guests can look forward to a 5-course Alpine dinner. Great care is taken to ensure the perfect wine pairing, recommended by experienced sommeliers. Every day, hotel guests are treated to a magnificent breakfast with superb regional products including jams, cheeses, the best of cold cuts and much more in the original wood-panelled Stube dining room. Weather permitting, lunch, dinner and light meals are served on the garden terrace.

The building was registered in the late 19th century as "house with courtyard and tavern". The restaurant business has always characterised the historic building which as early as 1786 proposed itself as an inn and retailer of traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. We can say that Casa al Torchio is the oldest restaurant in Bolzano. The restaurant offers today typical South Tyrolean cuisine and Italian gastronomic specialties created by the owners Ivan and Willy Waldner. Each dish is expertly structured to respect tradition with a touch of creativity and imagination. The restaurant has a capacity of about 90 seats, divided into 3 characteristic rooms on the 1st floor and 50 seats on the 2nd floor. In addition to lunch and dinner, you can also enjoy a good pizza. A selection of wines from the best local and national wineries and a selection of craft beers can accompany your dishes.

The Ütia Bioch Refuge 2,079 m boasts a long tradition of Ladin hospitality since 1990. Founded as a small ski-restaurant at the top of the ‘Bioch’ chairlift, today it offers a modern experience combining tradition and sustainability. The gastronomic philosophy is based on fresh, local ingredients, emphasising products from the Ladin valleys, with a focus on South Tyrolean wines, thanks to which, in 2020, we were the first hut to be awarded the prized ‘South Tyrolean Wine Culture Award’. More than 1,200 wine labels, 80 % from South Tyrol.Quality catering, wine tastings, special events such as the Gourmet Skisafari, the Wine Skisafari, Cujiné te ütia, Sommelier on the slopes, Saus dl Altonn, thanks to a team of which we are very proud.

An restaurant with a difference in the luscios Villnöss Valley. Chef Oskar Messner adds his own personal touch to traditional dishes and surprises guests with his unique creations. Most ingredients are directly sourced from local farmes, such as the award-winning lamb from Villnöss spectacled sheep.

The miil restaurant in Tscherms is an old mill that was converted into a premium restaurant. Othmar Raich and his staff at the Kränzelhof wine estate are always on the lookout for new ideas, and their menu changes seasonally.

Let yourself be pampered in our original Tyrolean farmhouse. As a national park host and a Slow Food member, we want to make a small contribution to the preservation of our rural cultural landscape with our traditional South Tyrolean dishes.

Restaurant “Alte Post” with wine-selling.

You will find our wine bar in the Ansitz Schreckenstein in the wine village of St. Pauls in the municipality of Eppan. In fine weather you may take a seat in the inner courtyard with its Mediterranean flair, while in bad weather our parlours offer enough space.

The estate tavern with the panoramic view from its large terrace is worth a trip. Enjoy the wide range of Elena Walch wines while gazing at the scenic view of Lake Caldaro. The wines can be accompanied by cold regional delicacies – chosen specialties from Alto Adige to pair with your wine choice. After a guided vineyard tour, it is the ideal place to experience, in a glass, the vineyards you just visited. Open from April to November, 11.00 am – 6.30 pm, closed Tuesday.

The AdlerCafé invites you to relax, read and chat with other people. Whatever you want to do, it will be accompanied by comfortable background music. Special lamps exuberate a soothing, warm light and create a comfortable atmosphere with our designer furniture and orange-coloured fabrics, as well as the historic walls and vaults. On warm summer days, you can sit outside in the picturesque Adlerbruckengasse under the small porticos.
